Hoping for changes to Friend Request system

Can we please get some changes to how the friend request system works. I am finding it tedious that to decline a request I must go into my friends list, wait for it to load and then decline the person whereas if I want to accept, it's as simple as clicking 'Yes' on the request.

I propose changing the system so that 'Yes' still accepts, adding a 'Wait' option where it will keep the request notification and allow to accept or deny at a later time, whether through the friends list or through the notification, and lastly making 'No' automatically decline the request.

That is an amazing idea. I dread it when those RMTs spam me with friend requests and I have to open the menu to remove it, just because since I declined it, it still takes up a slot in my friend list. It should be like in real life, where No means NO!

It would be perfect. Like a teleport offer window.

When we have a new friend request, we click on the notification, A FIRST window appears, asking if we want or not accept. Either we click Yes or No, it opens A SECOND WINDOW : your friend list (so this yes / no 1st windows is absolutely USELESS and makes NO SENSE at all), and we have to wait for the loading of the list completly, then we have to FIND and SELECT the orange name in queue for the friend request to open AN OTHER menu to finaly accept or not ....

This should works more or less the téléportation and resurection window with :
1) Yes : accept instanly the request whithout having thoses tones of steps to do
2) Think : Has the same effect of the actual yes/no
3) No : refuse instantly the request
And there is still the close icon to close the window for later.....

I agree completely. For those of us who are filtering tells instead of using /busy, this is likely a tiny change for a huge QoL boost to counteract RMT spam.

Agreed. A simple and clean solution for something that shouldn't even be a problem.

I fully support this. We are long overdue for some new options to help combat this out of control mess with the RMT.

We also need a way to respond to friend request via a macro---that is, we need a placeholder to represent the name of the last character that sent us a friend request.

This is needed. The current system is akin to wading across the stream to pick up water.

They should make it so that you have to do a friend request in "person", like a trade.
