The new hairstyles for 3.0 in the benchmark

These are the 2 new hairstyles in the benchmark that are supposed to be coming in 3.0. Only modeled them on my character and a female highlander alt i made and never used.

With a haircut and shave this first one turned my ruggedly handsome Ulath into a clean cut choir boy.

The samurai hairstyle looks great too, not so sure about the "choir boy" hairstyle though. :P

I tried them on all of my various guises, and they don't match at all >.< I think when i first created some of my characters I fit their face and such to the hairstyle...so now they just seem awkward in anything else xD *dont like change xD*

The new pigtails makes me think of Anna from Frozen by default, which is not a bad thing.. Elsa hairstyle now! Cosplay op!

I would really like to see some more hairstyles without bangs, I can't stand having my forehead completely covered by hair.

Those male hairstyles were on Lalafell too.

I love the choir boy hairstyle. It's exactly what I've always wanted!

Did Elezen have any new hairstyles?

Those are the new hairstyles that everyone gets, two for each gender. The "choir boy" and the "samurai hair" for males and the pigtails and ponytail for females.

Low Pigtails, or visible forehead...if there were no bangs I'd truly be sold.

The new female ponytail is amazing on Au Ra and Hyurs. Haven't tried it on Lala or Elezen, but it looks dumb on miqote.

Really disappointed in the new male (short) hairstyle (and male hairstyles in general in this game). The new male (short) hairstyle looks "ok" from very particular angles (unsurprisingly, the ones they used for screenshots) but really horrible from others.

I'm not terribly impressed with these new all-race styles; they just aren't my cup of tea I suppose. The ponytail is pretty cute, but I wish the bangs had a more layered look instead of being so full and straight. Too many styles with full bangs for the ladies, IMHO.

Now, the new male Au Ra long ponytail, that is what I want in a ponytail. Would look great on both genders, too. -sigh-

I highly agree with this. I was hoping to get the full effect of the nose scales but most of the hairstyles tend to cover it. I really wish there were some more dstyles that had no bangs or less bangs. Or just didn't fall into the eyes so much.
For now I'll be using Hairstyle #1 I guess.

I really hope the other races get the new Au Ra hairstyles. They're all brilliant!
I'd be pretty bummed if they're Au Ra exclusive....

I think the Au Ra styles with horns are likely not to be converted...

I just wish hair looked more like hair instead of so... Plastic-like in FFXIV.

But ya, a "boyscout' haircut I guess. It works. I can already see all the people running around with suits using it.

The Au Ra ladies need more hairstyle options that don't cover large chunks of their face. What's the fun of having scales if the hair covers them almost entirely?

Your male Highlander looks like a greaser.
The Manderville quest needs a bunch of Highlanders with that style snapping their fingers.

The ponytail remind me of Yoko from 12 Kingdoms

I tried out the new hairstyles on my character and started to gag. It looks like someone put a thick bowl on my head. It doesn't look good at all. :(

Can we Fem Roe's have some of the longer hair cuts that Fem Highlanders and Au Ra get? These new two are so ...wierd on our faces >.<

Edit: Pigtails on Miqo and Lala look cute :P And Samurai Hair on Lala too (I think the bushy back part of the hair is too close to the head...needs to be a bit longer)

i must admit i like the new hairstyles except the pigtails, personal tastes :P i hope we see more in 3.0 :D

Miqotes needs more long hairs ... 80% of female hairs are ponytail stuff.

Or short hair! One of the biggest quips I had as a fem roe was that there where not enough short hairstyles. Those pippie longstocking pigtails do not look right.
