Hey SE when's the next Players Poll?

it's been a while since the last poll, perhaps it's a good time SE put out another poll and see where the majority of the players are at with the game.

i dont think there will be any more polls when the forums is already launch.

They may have another one in the future, but I seriously doubt it. Like Seirra said, we have the forums and they receive feedback and give responses faster than using a poll.

Well, it's important to remember the forums are only a small amount of the people who are interested in the game. Remember how many of the people were turned away from the game and don't frequent this site - those people's matter because they'll be trying to win them back.

Don't expect one soon though, because they still aren't done with their plans from the responses from the first poll.

We should have a player pole to see if they need another player pole.

If we ever have another one it will be once they adress the issues the previous players poll was about. Mainly the map overhaul and battle system among many other things that are being worked on.

They have enough food on their plates as it is, they don't need our help right now adding more to it.

And you believe the poll also draw majority of players? If the people were turned away from the game and don't frequent this site, they wouldn't care about the polls either. First and last poll was like what? Tens of thousand? That's pretty low compared to the number they shipped.

The polls were a total nightmare.

They were constructed by people who had obviously never created a poll in their life. Anyone who's anyone knows that a poll needs to have a backup, non-committal answer for those that don't want to be led into answering in a way they did not wish to.

For example, in the original player polls, I found myself answering so many questions in ways I did not necessarily intend to answer them. And what use is a poll if it forces people to answer dishonestly?

Good call; they need to have another poll and there should have been several more by now. I think they've been thinking that they're busy still trying to implement the original two player's polls but I think things have gotten carried away since then.

I don't frequent these boards often but I'm an active player. So I take it my opinion is invalid and SE shouldn't listen to me, right?
Personally I think they should do another poll once they're finished implementing what came from the last poll

they have not finished putting in the crap for the first 2 polls why make a 3rd. so you can complain about how long its taking them more?

There are people who prefer to not post in here in an effort to avoid the drama. Their voices are otherwise not heard.

they have been looking into polls and other venues to increase feedback for 3 months now.

You have to understand, adding a poll system onto a website can take a few days... so in SE time thats 2 years. Be patient!

The '"like" function pretty much serves this purpose naturally, and some threads have 50k+ views.

I agree that when you take specific examples you will have examples of troll posts (and replies to) with unjustified high numbers of likes but overall they must have a very consistent pattern coming from the "likes" across the various threads in different languages that is probably better than what they would get just from the polls.
