What is it exactly and is it free to download? I'd very much like to create my Au Ra prior to Heavensward.

I think its something that shows if PC users can handle the game. It comes with the Character Creation for Au'ra. Its free to download. But its only for PC.

A benchmark is a program that puts stress on your computer's graphics card, processing unit, etc in order to see how well the full game will run under certain conditions. It rates your computer's performance and tells you whether or not your computer can run it well on high settings.
It is free, and for PC only, of course, as there's no reason to test a PS3/4's system since they're all the same.

You can still download the benchmark on your PC and play with the character creator. You just will not be able to use the save character data for your Playstation.

Log in to the game, right click your characters name and pick save appearance data. Then you should be able to load it with the benchmark.

I am struggling to resist the pull of the Au ra , from what i have seen of them so far if they where in game from the start i would definitely be playing Miqo'te over one.

They are so new and shiny though! Chances are i will fantasia to one then back again a few weeks later :(

Cuz thread title made it seem like the benchmark was out, but it isn't yet. Thought that was sort of... Self explanatory.

It's no different than the Devs posting a spoiler thread a full 24 hours before 2.55 hit.

My character seems to be taking a bit of a childish personality when I RP, so I guess I'll be focusing on that. Really it'll depend on what's in the creation itself. I try to just let everything kinda build itself through trial and error.

I want to be a Raen, I want her to be tranquil but not too tranquil because I predict a few people will try to look more badarse (some with Xaela) and that I just feel more connected with the calmer looking characters? xD

Skin color is darkish (like my current catgirl here), hair's the GS ponytail, dark brown w/lighter highlights. Eyes....no idea.

Personality: Takes it easy / stoned / muscle wizard / fights for fun / good buddy to everyone. Kind of a moron but hey whatever man.

edit. Dunno what tribe. I guess whichever has better scale colors with her complexion.

hopefully i can find something that makes my character looks indifferent to everything. if i can do it with the Tranquilly high Raen even better.

that would make my day. just want a character that doesn't look like they're about to punch something, but isn't looking like they've been on something for the past several hours.
