so where were we on having companion up while queue on DF?

i see that no progress been made, since i cannot do it just earlier

but what have SE work on, and what their obstacle?

They were too busy making miqo'te with scales, please look forward, to looking forward, to being able to queue while companion is summoned.

If anything this is the sort of thing I'd expect them to implement with the expansion. We've had no mention of it for quite a while again now though.

its right up there with FC summoning :P and wandering primals. the Please look forward to it category

why not assign chocobo (and any other "possible" companion) for a different "party"

all this time companion was categorized as the same party as player, yet they have different parameter so that it wont pass the DF queue filter
so just make/assign a new "party" category, that is "companion", or anything that doesnt fall into "players" parameter

Make it happen, pronto! XD

They recently mentioned that DF queues can be initiated with smaller parties, it might be possible that they've yet to mention companions being able to join you in those smaller parties.
I'm not holding my breath but I personally think while in DF it will be possible to summon a companion to fill the pt same as open world.

You will be able to queue with your chocobo out soon, I'm sure.
