Seriously, this last week i have done about 10-12 runs a day (except today, i just woke up -.-) so that's 60 - 72 runs, and i have NOT once, at all, seen the BRD top or legs drop, not once! Do they even exist, seriously?

My bard has run it that often every week for 5 weeks and not seen either the pants or boots yet...
The same thing happened with dragoon drops. I finally gave up on it.
I received three of my bard drops in one night, one before even trying and another tonight, only boots left. I really haven't been seeing much tanking stuff besides the feet though. And of course one week it took me 25 runs to get a healer piece. Such is RNG.
I got all my bard drops before the weekly lockout was removed.
The top took about ten runs, the pants about twenty?
Now, stuff I never see, let's talk about LNC stuff, haha.
Another day another Bard crying that they want their BiS loot...Of course the second you do or don't get it you leave the raid anyway XD.
Usually CT gear ends up being BiS only when the devs decided to give the current tome/raid gear horrible stats, like the BRD chest.
The tank body technically has more STR net worth than the Dreadwyrm one, but you then have to make up for the 33 loss in accuracy. Which means you're losing the Dreadwyrm choker, which means you're then at a net loss. It might be BiS in certain turns I suppose? But it's also only .862 STR higher (according to Dervy's statweights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4IdTQtICdo), so if I had to choose between the two I'd still go Dread for the extra VIT. :V
That said, it's a really great filler piece, which I think is all it's trying to be.
Nevertheless, i gave up yesterday, went as a WHM with my fiancee, and look what dropped. I didn't even bother greeding, i just kinda laughed that laugh on the border of crying. Anywho, as luck would have it, i got all of my WHM gear from there in 2 runs, i think RNGesus is telling me i should stick with WHM.
I saw the tank chest drop 47 runs in a row. Talk about bad RNG if you need one of the other drops from Cloud. T_T
And .... i have only seen Caster Robe drop once (lost roll of course) since Wod has been introduced and run it a few times every day
Perhaps if you see caster gear we could swap? All i ever see is Bard gear :(
So far week#4 with no gear for me, tbh now that there is no more weekly lock i don't expect to ever get any gear
And Itseotle actually the Demon Chest piece IS bis for Bard and the demon skirt of casting is very good for blm
Never seen the bard hat playing for 4 weeks as bard, at least 3 runs per day 5 days /week....
Took me like 30-40 runs to get a Bard Top. I'm just glad I never *have* to do the CT raids again.
Been doing T10 for 60+ farm runs and the weekly runs during the lockout; never seen the last piece I need, the Bard Sash. I already have all the Dreadwyrm pieces on my second class, NIN lol. Sometimes the game has a twisted sense of humour, maybe RNG wants me to reroll?
That's okay, at least you're all re-running the dungeon, all for the purpose of preserving the longevity of the dungeon and game, even if it'll cost your sanity and patience.
RNG was actually good to me when it came to gearing Bard in WoD, got hat/chest/feet with the first or second run each week while it was loot locked, never lost a Need roll to another Bard. So then I swap to Dragoon which was my worst geared lvl 50 and have run it over and over for weeks and weeks without seeing any Dragoon gear and I wonder if it even exists. Well except for the head piece which I've seen drop multiple times once I got it, but not even a stupid belt other than that.
Thing is I'd actually like to try running this on classes OTHER than Dragoon, like SMN or BLM or SCH to make it more interesting, but I'm stuck on DRG until I can actually get some damn gear for my class cause if I run on a different class, DRG gear will drop and I'll lose it on a greed roll to someone who doesn't have it leveled yet.
I think there must be a system that figures out what people are trying to get and then intentionally withholds it for a certain number of runs and drops gear for classes people in the party don't have instead. The ratio of monk gear to all the rest is absurd.
WoD is seriously starting to annoy the hell out of me with the bad drop rates.
In the last 7 runs, and this is no exaggeration, I've had only the Fending belt drop on the first boss. Overall since WoD was released, for the first boss, I've only seen Healer gloves and the rare Casting hat drop. I mean, seriously what the hell? This isn't really isolated to the first boss, I've had similar experiences with all of them! Perhaps SE's RNG algorithm is borked?
Either increase drop rate variety, or the number of items dropping per boss, or introduce a token system! Please!
When I was spamming WoD on summoner to finish my last Mahatma, the bard body dropped three times in a row and I didn't win any of them because a bard rolled need or my greed roll was like 13. So I finished my Mahatma and got my Zeta. The next run of WoD I did on bard, and no bard stuffed dropped. Then I got the high allagan cleavers from my first T9 clear (late to the party I know) and decided I should gear up ninja. So I ran as ninja and no ninja gear dropped, but guess what dropped to mock me? The bard body. -_- I rolled a 1. Crossed my fingers that no one else had rolled greed but of course I couldn't be that lucky.
This piece doesnt exist. Ive never seen it. The 1 time i seen the boots someone with the augmented 130s won the roll. LOL So chilling in my amonz till infinity.
I got the BRD chest the first night WoD came out. In the first week I got the waist, hands, and hat. Just got legs last week thought, so I guess my luck ran out lol. I did also manage to get BLM/WHM robe and full tank gear within the first month of WoD being released.
Saw karma at work in WoD a few nights ago, I'm running on SCH on my alt for first time... instance starts, bard #1 says hi, bard #2 says 'Look at this trash bard with their strength accessories to get in, and I'm sure they'll be the one to get the bard chest, someone kick this trash bard etc etc.'. I have a feeling this person uses their kicks frequently since they were calling for others to kick vote someone lol but anyway... regardless of them having a point about someone using the wrong type of accessories to get in, they were toxic whereas the other person was at least nice and someone else in the party warned them about it. After the first boss and trash mob they still said to alliance 'make sure you kick the people using the wrong accessories' and someone in my group finally kick voted them. I decided to abstain the first time since I had a feeling the WHM I joined with was the one who initiated it and I wanted it to pass or fail based on how the rest of the party felt, knowing I could always rekick if it came to it. Kick passed.
Later in run, the bard chest dropped. Bard #1 rolled a 15 and got it. If Bard #2 had just kept their mouth shut, odds are super high they would have gotten it, not that they'll ever know that.
Has anyone on here tried loot farming, it can be very effective. It's taken a while, with no less strain on my sanity, lol, but I basically have full sets, just missing the Ninja body and tank gloves. Technically, I don't have the healer/caster sets, besides the skirts, but I main Sch/Smn, so they were geared with poetics stuff first. But back on topic, yeah if people do loot farming, getting gear is pretty easy, providing the rest of the alliance isn't bad. You just call "dibs" on 2 pieces, and run the raid. If siad piece drops everyone else passes. Should anything else drop we always stated if we were passing, and those that wanted it asked. Its pretty effective if youmcan get people together, and it's awesome if you can get a whole alliance; did that once and it was awesome.
3 weeks to see brd legs.. was the last piece i needed so running 3 weeks of it was almost pointless since i could only greed other jobs
tho when they did drop i was the only brd in group so yay
The hat dropped surprisingly early, as did the boots. The bracers were the surprisingly hardest piece to get, even more so than the chest.
The upside is the training you get through all those runs. Also, you might end up making connections, and new friends / allies are always a plus in my book.
