Name: Kokotsu Kotsu A.K.A Koko

Current situation:

Worried about her parents in Ul'dah with all things happen to her and current situation in Ul'dah, hoping that both of them are alright. (I still not finish mq yet just watch from youtube, please correct me if I'm wrong)

Born in Ul'dah and comes from famous and wealthy family. The only daughter of the renowned merchant in Ul'dah. Spoiled child with boyish attitude, maybe because her parents doted their only child so much. When she still young she attend a royal dinner with her family at Ul'dah and accidentally met Sark Malark there. Sark Malark so eagerly tell her the story about adventurer life and world beyond Ul'dah. The story keep going until the end of the dinner. At the following day her mind never stop thinking about the outside world and what she actually want with her life, she so grateful with the blessing what she have now, but she still feels there is something missing. Many years after that she has reached her final decision to live as adventurer to find what she want with her life, with so many objection from her parents she trying so hard to persuade them that she is an adult Lalafell and can take care herself. With heavy heart her parent let her go to the journey as adventurer with the condition that she will never miss sending them mail and come back home if something bad happen. She set sails to Limsa Lominsa as her first destination. In the journey she has met many people and she know outside world is vast and there is so many kind of people out there and the life as adventurer is not like what she think, she have rough time and also good time with her fellow Free Company and friends. She also met Sark Malark in her journey, so he also followed the same path as her.

My characters RP story isn't based in the main scenario warrior of the light story, she's just basically a run of the mill chick who's living day to day.

Name: Eisen Gramul
Characteristic: Whimsical Jackass
Dislike: Dismissive behavior. Getting in the way.

Current situation: Biding my time with the beastmen tribes.

Your story: Found and raised from a wee babe by a tribe of treasure hunting Highlanders in a crashed Limosian trading vessel off the coast of Ul'Dah, Gramul was raised to be a treasure seeking merchant. Failing at that, he eventually took the role of an adventurer shortly before the calamity to fuel his wanderlust and vaguely defined desire to help. He was one of the fist to document the descent of Dalamud in the early days of the decent. During the war of Dalamud, he found himself in the front lines fending off the advancing army. An unfortunately placed strike from a magitech mech knocked him out cold as the Seventh Umbral Era drew to a close. He awoke to a burning world. His armor shattered, his chocobo badly wounded, friends missing and the opposing army retreated. He went into hiding and nursed his steed Esperado back to health. During this time, he found a baby behemoth whom had lost its mother in the calamity. In what was perhaps a lapse in basic reason and judgment, he adopted the beast as his son.

The years passed and Eisen began to hear word of adventurers gathering once more. Even rumors that the missing army somehow returned with mysterious marks on their necks. Eager to return to a life of adventure, he returned to Ul'dah to begin his adventure anew.
He eventually made his alliance in his birth home of Limsa Lominsa, where his Ul'dahn accent and fondness for silver over steel fell in contrast with the standard Seawolf stereotype. Regardless, he found comfort in the island nation's culture and people.

He was named using an awkward culmination of Highlander language and Hellsguard naming conventions. literally it translates to 'Iron Gram'.

Well, given the fact that Ferne actually stated that everyone is the Warrior of Light from your own point of view, the OP is kind of correct. Buuut, it's your character, so you write your character's canon story however you wish. :D

My character's backstory has undergone a lot revisions and changes since I first started in version 1.0, both due to how the actual story has developed and more lore info has been revealed, meaning a lot of what I wrote no longer 'fit' or made much sense. But one idea I've kept is instead of having it that there is just one Warrior of Light, that there is in fact far more, and that their true identities are not known (which is true from a certain point of view - for a new player the 'original' Warriors of Light who defeated van Darnus prior to the Calamity never returned.)

So, my character's story does reflect this that her identity as a WoL is canon, but also accepts that she isn't the only one, and that other Warriors of Light were responsible for other accomplishments (specifically, things I haven't done yet myself, like Frontline or the Binding Coils of Bahamut). Anyway, this is what I've come up with so far for Enki's backstory up to her 'return' following the Calamity (in other words, the start of ARR - I'm still working out her story in relation to the events of ARR):

Name: Enkidoh Roux (nee Ninghol)
Characteristic: kind, laid back, upbeat, friendly, loyal
Dislikes: Garleans in general but Imperial Legatus Gaius van Baelsar in particular, the Ul'dahn Syndicate (even before the events of 2.55), xenophobia towards Ala Mhigians, malboros
Likes: swordplay, flower arranging, tea, fashion, collecting minions, her friends and family (especially her wife Jingai and her best friend Arielyanna),
The person you admire: Cid nan Garlond (who is the only Garlean she actually likes ;)), her birth father Pytr Ninghol (an outcast tia who became a member of Ala Mhigo's royal guard and taught her the basics of swordsmanship and the ideals of a knight)
Dreams: originally to free Ala Mhigo (her birthplace) from Garlean control and discover her parents' fates, but now, it's to discover the mysteries of the Echo and why she was gifted with it by Hydaelyn and why how the fall of Ala Mhigo set the current situation into motion.

Your story: (spoilered to save space)

Enkidoh d'Roux (commonly she writes her surname with the 'd' dropped from 'd'Roux'), was born Enkidoh Ninghol sometime about seven years before the fall of Ala Mhigo, the city of her birth. Her mother was a Botanist who sold flowers at a stand in the city, while her father was a member of the city militia, a swordsman who often had the unsatisfactory title of 'Gladiator' thrust on him despite him being a soldier who happened to favour the sword. Both her parents were outcast members of the Seekers of the Sun miqo'te clan, a clan rare amongst the Eorzean citystates, and even rarer in Ala Mhigo. Her parents were from rival tribes, defied clan traditions and abandoned the Seekers' matriarchal society for a more urban way of life, which they found in the castle city of Ala Mhigo, and accordingly shed their ties to their former lives by adopting Ala Mihgan names, their former tribal names abandoned and forgotten. Nevertheless, they still raised their daughter reverently in their clan's traditional worship of Azeyma the Warden, the Goddess of the Sun, not entirely comfortable to convert to the traditional Ala Mihgan worship of Rhalgr the Destroyer, god of destruction.

When Ala Mhigo fell to the Garlean Empire, Enki's parents were lost to the fighting, and Enki fled, orphaned, afraid and alone. Drifting aimlessly she found herself amongst a ragtag group of refugees fleeing the violence before the Empire's net closed completely, preventing any further escape. After stopping at an apparently abandoned fruit cart, she took an apple from it only to be chastised angrily by the cart's owner, an Ul'dahn wildwood elezen merchant named Gill'ette d'Roux.

When the grief became too much, Enki broke down crying, and the elezen woman's heart softened, and comforted her. Realizing Enki was now orphaned and homeless, and lacking children of her own, Gill'ette decided to take the young Miqo'te under her care, and took her to live with her back in Ul'dah, raising Enki as her own daughter (hence Enki now took Gill'ette's family name of 'd'Roux', although she often spelt it without the d.) . Growing up as a member of a wealthy merchant family, Enki was now safe, but saw from afar the contempt and resentment other Ala Mhigan refugees in the city experienced from the Ul'dahns, and Enki realized that she could never reveal her origins to anyone, lest she loose the family she had only just gained. It was about that time that the Age of Adventuring began, and Enki saw the growing number of adventurers leaving the city. In particular, she took notice of the Gladiator's Guild the Colosseum, who practiced the ways of the sword, just like her father taught her. In fact, seeing the gladiators training made Enki remember her father, and mother, and soon, she begun to pine for the city of her birth. Ala Mhigo.

She knew though that getting to Ala Mhigo would not be easy, as the city was still under Garlean occupation, with access severely restricted in and out, but she also realized that an adventurer might have the best chance of gaining access. Hence, when Enki came of age on her eighteenth nameday, the now adult miqo'te revealed to her shocked adopted parents that she was going to become an adventurer, and a Gladiator at that! But however much they tried dissuading her, her mind was made up. And so, on her eighteenth winter, she left Ul'dah behind, to make the long and grueling trek to the north east, to Ala Mhigo. After many weeks on the road, after finding herself in the thick, impenetrable forest of the Black Shroud, she realized she was lost. She had to then make a life-changing decision. Should she continue and hope for the best? Or turn and head back the same way she came?

Of these two paths, only the Warden (and perhaps the Matron too) knew what path she was to take, a fact directed to Enki in the form of a shooting star, and another, and another. Streaking through the thick forest canopy like fiery birds. Her bright blue eyes wide with wonder at the beautiful spectacle, she hefted her pack, and followed the streaking stars, not to Ala Mhigo like she intended, but to Gridania, her destiny - a destiny that was not just hers, but that of all of Eorzea...

Name: Darius Stormcrow
Characteristic: On the surface- Cavalier, Flippant, Roguish. A total snake in the grass. Deep down- More earnest and caring than he'd care to admit, would and has fought to the death to protect his friends.
Dislike: Being bossed around, being broke, doing work, Garlean infantry helmets.
Likes: Easy money, Fine Womenfolk, Strong Drink
The person your admire: Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn- Takes a hell of a leader to keep a pack of criminals like the ones from Limsa in line. Also she's a crack shot and doesn't care so much what you may or may not have done in your past. She's done right by him and he aims to repay the debt.
Dreams: Live as well as he can for as long as he can.
Current situation: Broke, as always. Jokingly (And somewhat bitterly) bragging about becoming a "double war criminal"

Your story: Darius grew up outside of Ala Mhigo with his Older Brother, Father, and Mother. They were farmers, didn't really have big aspirations or anything. When Garlemald rolled over Ala Mhigo, the family was split up, Darius's father, Cyrus, had one bit of advice for his two sons: "Do whatever they ask. Keep your head down. Don't try to be a hero and you'll survive." So that's what Darius did, he learned how to fight with an axe as a conscript and achieved mediocrity on his own. He didn't do extremely well in the regimented military system. Then while on patrol, the Ala Mhigan resistance attacked, and while they were repelled, the magitek armor that the squad was escorting overheated and exploded, a piece of shrapnel hit Darius in the face, pierced right through his helmet and took out his right eye. That brush with death was enough for Darius, and once the chunks of metal were pulled out of his head and he was healthy enough to get out of bed he was informed he'd be going right back into action. Not wanting to die horribly for a cause he didn't care about, he instead conveniently 'disappeared' during a routine patrol, he ditched his equipment and ran for it knowing full well that Desertion was a death sentence. He managed to get away and stay away thanks to a little mishap with the Agrius catching and holding the Empire's attention for a while, nobody had time to waste on some rank-and-file deserter; at least until Darius started making a nuisance of himself.

With very little skill in anything other than murder, Darius began plying his trade as a highwayman and smuggler, he knew Garlean patrols and could get a lot of restricted things in and out of the Imperial Province, he worked for the resistance, corrupt officers, Ul'Dahn merchants, anyone with enough gil. When he couldn't get work, he just straight up robbed people. Eventually he got a reputation and was recognized as a former conscript, so it was time to get the hell out of dodge. Darius evaded the grasping hands of the Empire and slipped further south into Eorzea. Not a lot of people were interested in taking in a Garlean Deserter/War Criminal/Highwayman- at least not until he arrived in Limsa Lominsa. Nobody looked twice at him for having a checkered past. It was here that he set up shop, and started applying his skills for profit. He's basically an odd-jobber, he'll take whatever work you've got if the gil is right. His family is still probably split up in the Empire somewhere, but he wouldn't know where to start looking if he cared enough to try, and honestly they'd probably be none too happy to see him. Even though Darius did take his father's advice- he sure as hell didn't try to become a hero.

My Free Company is "Crystalline Dream" <DREAM>. So there's no need to wake up.

Current situation:
Yoshimitsu Novus light farm, but spamming all content to get light instead of an actual farm.

My story:
I hail from the world of old known as Vana'diel. I was born and raised on Cerberus in February 2005. After many battles and losing many friends, I travelled to Asura server. There, I had become a Mercenary. I had then put behind me the spiritual powers of healing to become a full fledge Corsair in 2009.

In 2013, I received an invitation to meet the leaders of Eorzea; most specifically Gridania of the Black Shroud. As I slept, I kept getting dreams of the Crystal and the hardships that plagued Eorzea. When I woke up, I was on a carriage which eventually let me off in Gridania.

Looking to pit the Mercenary life behind me, I wanted to then help the land rather than travelling as a hired hand. I sought out the ways of the Conjurer. Becoming experienced and evolving into a White Mage, the burning rage inside me flared, so I departed my White Mage soul and accepted the Soul of the Ninja.

In November 2014, I travelled back to Vana'diel for one final mission as requested. During that mission, I had to assassinate those I had called friends. I couldn't be emotional about it, so I did what I had to do, then left Vana'diel behind me forever.

I now find comfort in Eorzea as my permanently new home. I still live my days doing battle after battle, as I can hear and feel Sasuke's soul calling for me. However, I must complete his first quest given to me by feeding souls to Yoshimitsu.

In the end, I'm always near, blades unsheathed, lurking the shadows, and slaying marked targets. There is nothing else that matters.

Valia began adventuring in order to 'make a difference', but the lure of power as a Black Mage is beginning to make her indifferent to anything but her own desires.

Name: Dracoco Ixtar (known as draco ixtar)
Characteristic: A slight short temper but speaks her mind freely
Slight Discription: A small blind lalafell from a a rich nobel family she was abandond at a young age and had to learn how to fight to survive, she was partially raised by the sylphs, who took pity on her for a few years before she was found and taken back to sociaty, socially awkward she dosnt know how to act infront of other people, she takes her family name seriously
Dislike: being left alone, her blindness.
Likes: being near people
The person your admire: Nanamo, knowing that a lala has such a position is a inspiration to Dracoco's life, she aspires to get enough gil to live as well as the sultana

Your story: at first she was a normal but blind lalafell, but after an incident with a bomb near a fire shard vain that caused a fire shard to be embedded in her head and cost her brother, his leg, she was abandoned suffering by herself she got past her timidness and scared front, using her fists to survive, she was found by the sylphs, who took a pity on her and taught her how to speak since she didn't speak much as well as feed her, after a few years with the sylph she was found by the wood wailer's of gridania, who took her back to society, she was then sent back to ul'dah to be reunited with her family, her brother had told her she was told to never come tot he house under her fathers orders, under a threat of being killed, she hated her father and vowed to get back into the house and take over the family merchant business, after staying with an FC under protection at first she found herself a home and a place to work with learning to get used to fighting and move away from what she was taught was normal, but her brother came in and got her fired, and swore to 'purge' her annoied at the fact she lived after her brother's failed attempt to kill off her and her mother, as well as his successful murder of her father as well as his disownment from her family she asked for help from the flames and from the FC she used to work at, after gaining assistance she met up with those who were willing to fight for her to assist, but was told by the flames that due to her brothers actions someone from the Ixtar family must pay for his crimes, she was then sent to Gaol for a time to cover her brothers' crimes to her family's name

Name: D'aikho Fia
Characteristic: Very tribe orientated, scar on his chest
Dislike: anyone who disrespects tradition, anyone who disrespects the hunt, anyone who disrespects the elder of the tribe (or fc leader)

The person your admire: hard to say for d'aikho but he admires someone he used to know
Dreams: to gain the respect of the dead (will be explained in the background story)
Current situation: alive but sore, recovering at his FC's house

Your story: a young Miqo'te seeker who was found as a baby by Keepers, he was raised under keeper's tribal rules, he learnt how to use a bow and arrow by the elder of his tribe, and was given the joy of leading his own hunt group, but.. when he did he caused a mistake costing several of his friends and 'sisters' lives, he was berated heavily to the point where he self harmed himself with the arrow of his tribe sister he salvaged from her body, he cut his chest open with the arrow before embedding it into his chest, the scar and arrow lives as a reminder to what he has done. he tries his hand at any and every hunt he can in order to grant those who died under him honour, in hopes that the blood on his hands will be washed away, he is scared of seeing his own blood but is terrified to literally see blood on his hands, when faced with a strong hunt he prays to menphina, after hunting a major hunt something he feels will gain those who died honour, he goes to the makeshift grave in north shroud, but due to his sensitivity of the subject he hides his scar and any information about the past focusing on the now, one thing he takes pride in is talking to 'warriors' and 'hunters' to try and learn of any major hunts, he may act childish and seem unintelligent but he knows more then he shows, but he dosnt know how to say it, he tends to compare it to more common sights, (such as calling a magitek reaper a 'metal chocobo' and its fuel tubes as vains ) due to his tribe- upbringing he has very little to no social understanding in cities, he climbs on things sits on things and likes to be up high, since he enjoys sitting in tree's he rarely sleeps indoors as well choosing to lay up against a tree and sleep unless it is raining then he chooses to sleep indoors.

Your story: The au ra girl has some slight memory issues she remembers the fires of her home village, the ninja's fighting some Garlamald and seeing her family get killed from a magitek cannon blast, nearly escaping for her life she wrapped herself in her room on the ship, refusing to talk to anyone, an old midlander woman who was from her village has spoken to her and tried to get her to open up, letting out small information out on what she remembers she finds it painful to try and remember more, she cannot recall her name, but she knows what race she is, she just wants to go somewhere quiet, and help those who need help, she also never wants to see highlanders minot'e and elezens due to the main forces of the garlamald empire's army being made of such but the midlander woman told her to try and make friends in eorzea, other wise she will be alone, she may not like them but she will try, but cautiously, she is more scared the highlander due to the pilot of the magitek pilot being a highlander.

she is nervous of eorzea and just wants to be somewhere quiet

Name: Adam Fylrmyn
Characteristic: Somewhat of a goof, and a Kleptomaniac. Happy-go-lucky, and just plain silly.
Dislike: Bad people.
Likes: Spiders. Kittens! Exploring.
The person you admire: Rowena (seriously please tell me your secrets).
Dreams: To one day mess up space-time in order to unlock the secrets of the universe (and all of Rowena's secrets).
Current situation: Trying to find a nice place to nap.

Your story:

An Observer of Time (someone who watches over time). He was forced to flee to Eorzea after the destruction of his timeline. Upon reaching Eorzea, he exhausted his powers and was on the brink of death, but quickly possessed the body of a nearby Adventurer in order to save himself resulting in killing the original host of the body. Rowena found him injured and weak near the outskirts Mor Dhona and took him in. Eventually, Adam got back on his feet after a couple of weeks.

Rowena introduced him to the life of an Adventurer. He looks up to Rowena as a motherly figure to which he started adventuring in order to repay her kindness (and secrets). After a few years, Rowena took notice of his proficiency in healing (he's actually using the power of time to reverse the wounds), and introduced him to the Conjurer's guild and E-Sumi-Yan. Strangely enough, the temporal magic Adam uses is seen as normal Conjury even though he insists that it's temporal magic.

Adam does not age due to being an Observer of Time which ignores the laws of space-time. This confuses a lot of people as he looks the same even after many years have passed. He keeps his age a secret. One day, he left the Conjurers guild to venture to Ul'dah to look for something to do.

I don't want to give to much info away, but what i can say is that i am a sophisticated sex robot sent back in time to change the future for one lucky lady :cool:

That's just a handwave though to avoid having to come up with a 'canon' reason for all the story explanations though. Really, it's completely up to you exactly where your character comes from - saying "you're a foreigner' is just a simple way to say "We don't know where you were born" - for all they knew you could have actually been Eorzean born and raised but had been travelling for a long time and have now returned. It's completely up to you. ;)

Sadly, my english is too bad to translate my rp-background. :\ And in the past, I was really obsessed with role-playing game before it has degenerated into a dating and sex hotline (i'm looking at you, Goldshire/Silvermoon@WoW).

Liars and Thieves who intend to harm innocence; the Garlean Empire, not because of their conquest but because of the regulations they apply for traveling through their claimed territories and sea boarders.

Dreams:
To one day find his true love and to complete his cartography of Eorzea.

Current situation:
Exploring every nook and cranny of Eorzea, to present the most detailed and elaborate map Eorzean's have ever laid eyes on.

Your story:
Born a highlander, Atrage was predetermined to grow up strong and fit, however while the perks of said physique were welcome, Altrage found his mind wandering more and more as he grew older. He was born not in Ala Mhigo but in a small town on Theuearl, an island right off the Rothlyt Sound. His family were wealthy merchants owning a fleet of sea vessels who primarily traded with the city-states of Ala Mhigo and Ul'dah. However, during the Garlean invasion the A'uli trade diminished, and many people of the town decided to either flee to the havens of Gridania or if they were wealthy enough reestablish trade routes to other city-states and make base in Ul'dah. Altrage's parents chose the latter, however Altrage now in his late twenties spoke out against his parents decision.

After a labored dispute between parents and son they offered him one vessel to call his own and a crew of loyal shipmates to accompany him. It was a bittersweet parting, Altrage knew that mercantilism--the act of procuring and selling goods--was not in his best interest, instead it was with cartography. As a child he was always fascinated at the tales old captains would tell at the inn in his home town, and he always dreamed of experiencing those tales first hand. Now his dreams were in his hands.

He set off on the A-class vessel the Vrtra, so aptly named as it appeared to control the chaos of the sea with its unique design delivering smooth sailing. It was a smaller ship than most merchant vessels but its pure speed and control ranked it among'st the A-class ships. It was painted soot black, and clad in Orichalcum rivets and accents. Bits of Jade were also fastened to the accents to give it a flourish that bested all other ships. The design was two-fold, as in the murky fog of the sea the ship appeared ethereal, but in the clear skies it shown more spectacularly than Ul'dah's lavish dome.

Without looking back Altrage set off with his new crew, eventually running into the Scions of the Seventh Dawn while making berth at a small town called Horizon. Making friends quickly with their leader he used the opportunity to fund his exploration of the realm. In between saving Eorzea from certain doom he spent his days charting the coastlines of previously unexplored territories. He knew one day he would make berth and explore these lands themselves but it his first task was to obtain the framework for which to apply his details.

With quill in hand and lance in the other he sets off, exploring the realm even as we speak.

Marik's back-story!

Name:Marik Destiel (Once known as simply "Yami"Marik)

Characteristic:Marik is a gentle and kind soul. Constantly willing to give himself unto others who need someone for anything! Love, friendship, or support, Marik is there for you. Marik simply wants to walk his own path in life, finding his way and living life to the fullest! Finding new friends and allies is always the best days Marik has, and also in hopes to find that one true love Marik so desperately craves, in secret.

Dislike:Rude, Uncaring/Unfeeling, evil, tyrannical, and judgmental people.

Likes:Sweets, sunbathing, walking in the woods, playing with his old friend Carbuncle aka Blue Kitty <3 and helping anyone in need!

The person you admire:Definitely Kan-E-Senna and Minfillia. It takes a certain amount of strength, grace, and humility to become a leader, and actually lead people! Sometimes people might not appreciate all the things you do, but you know in your heart it's ok and serving your fellow people is all that matters. To have a peaceful realm, and to always walk within the Light of life! (Admiring as in crush... DEFINITELY Jacke and Orboro, I love those two guys soooo much <3.)

Current situation: Well I follow the storyline rather closely to a T, so if you have finished 2.0's storyline, then you know Marik's broad current situation. Otherwise Marik feels rather tortured, dismayed, and saddened by certain events that have taken place in his life, and not just the storyline ones either. (Lost my entire FC recently, I miss those guys!)

Yamimarik: -WARNING-SPOILERS from FFXI story lines.


I've decided to take an interesting turn for my Character. I'll be importing all my character back story from my FFXI character and do my own 1.0>2.0 type story.


Quick FFXI Backstory: Marik started out as a young adventurer just trying to get started in the world of Vana'diel. Going to prove his name as a top notch Red Mage! He practiced his white and black magic, while always keeping his sword skills and shield skills fresh in his mind and heart. Of course one day, he ran across some old books inside the library at Windurst. And discovered a book about "forbidden" magic. Summoning Magic! Realizing something so mysterious and so intriguing he wanted to learn more about this magic! So he trained hard as a Red Mage to prove to himself and others what he could do and unlock the mysteries of Summoning. Finally coming across a scared gem known as a "Carbuncle's Ruby" from fighting a nasty leech in Buburimu Peninsula. He took the gem straight to Windurst, to see if anyone knew how to unlock it's sacred powers. Finally arriving at the "House of the Hero"(knowing well that the legendary Karaha-Baruha once lived here, the famous Taru-Taru who summoned the great Fenrir!), a voice appeared before him. It was as if Carbuncle himself was speaking to him, what he needed to know. Fortunately Ajido-Marujido was there to interpret what the Terrestrial Avatar wanted... to shine the ruby in many different lights of all natures weather. Once the gem was unlocked... Marik set out to make a name for himself and the summoning arts as a good name, to restore Vana'diel's faith in Summoner's and the Avatars!


Many a fights, battles, lies, friends, companions, lovers, rivals, enemies, death, and life passed! And a strange "Maw" appeared before him in Rolanberry fields one day. Unsure of what this mysterious and decrepit maw held, he closely inspected it... the mighty Fenrir(his most prided companion.) out and ready at a moments noticed to defend and help him. Little did he know.. *"Yami"Marik now, that this decrepit cavernous maw would lead him to the last and most truth revealing, heart and soul shattering adventure of them all...


Back to Vana'diels past!!! That's where this maw lead too. After meeting his last companion of Vana'diel, even after his many adventures of defeating the Archduke and his elder brother... saving Vana'diel from Zilart rule. Helping the young and fiesty Prishe and her immortal life. Facing the Twilight god himself reincarnated... receiving the "mother's tear" straight from Altana herself... Losing many friends in the process... making many friends while fighting his way through the life of a Summoner. Discovering new lands, learning new magic, finding himself in the company of an Empress... restoring a fallen empire! Facing the Celestial Avatar of light himself! Encountering both the Celestial Avatar of Light and Dark and harnessing their powers! Exploring the cavernous maw more freely, finding yet another dimension of Vana'diel... a Vana'diel that did not defeat their Promathia when came to power... and their "Yami"Marik perished before Prishe's eyes! Restoring faith to "Abyssea". Finally it all leading to the final battle inside "Atomos" itself. With Lilisette's alternate self... Lady Lilith! Alone...(I actually did finally solo Lilith fight as a 95 SMN took so much grinding to get the gear I needed in order to figure out a proper solo strategy! Watched this one video of a Taru JP SMN doing it and I knew I had to figure out the fight solo!) with Lilisette at his side. Finally the Maiden of Dusk was down... but her play was not over! Quickly grabbing a hold of Lilisette absorbing her powers... she ascended! Lilith Ascended! Marik knew the fight of his life was upon him. To face his foe and friend all in one...


With the epic battle finally over... Lilisette and Lilith apart, Marik watched as Lilisette was transported to Lady Lilith's world, to her Vana'diel. Cait Sith assured him, he would be transported back to his own Vana'diel. Something strange happened though... he could feel it inside his heart and soul. Atomos was not taking him to his home... to his loved ones... to his Vana'diel. And like that he could feel himself no more... for what seemed an eternity he awoke. In a strange land... with strange garaments. Unable to summon any of his "Avatars" to guard him while he figured out what was happening. Quickly finding the nearest sign of civilization he realized he was an adventurer a new once again! Finding his place in this new world this "Hydaelyn" this "Eorzea" as a motherly figure told him once finding his way to "Gridania" he knew he must move on... to figure out the ways of this world. To seek out his former self, his "summoner" self in this strange world. He knew, like Lilisette, he would be trapped here... since the gateway was surely closed now. Allowing his true name to be how he was identified for the first time... "Marik Destiel" his adventure begins now...


*"Yami"-once becoming a Summoner... many people of Vana'diel looked down upon him and feared him for resurrecting the "forbidden" art. He became a "child" of darkness to them.

Sakura is currently hiding out in the Carline Canopy Adventurers' Guild under the careful guard of Mother Miounne and the Twin Adders, who she holds the rank of Lieutenant within.

Your story:

Sakura was born in Doma, as a young girl she quickly took up the arts of arcanima within her native country, learning all she could. While the Doman knowledge was less focused upon the summoning of aetheric beings and umbral magick, the knowledge more than compensated with unique knowledge of the healing arts once applied by Scholars. When Garlemald invaded, Sakura's life changed little. But she learned of the rebellious movements within her fellow kinsmen. As a young adult of just nineteen summers, Sakura and her kin struck in one of the bloodiest failed ambushes of the Doman rebellion. Before she knew it, her neck was bleeding profusely as the corpses of her friends and family were tossed upon her one after another. In desperation, she did all she could to close the wound that was quickly filling her throat and lungs with blood. She couldn't hear her own coughing as she cleared her throat of her own essence before she reached for one of the daikatanas at the foot of the pile. When she next awoke, she was on a boat, being cared for by an Auri woman. The gentle rocking and wide skies above her leaving her confused. At her side was the hilt of her brother's sword. She opened her mouth to speak, only to hear a dry rasp follow through. A nervous smile crossing her lips. She had saved her life and gotten revenge, judging by her condition... but lost her voice forever.

Months passed at sea as she healed completely. They were headed to Eorzea, to find allies, answers, and a home.

I'm still working on mine, since i'm still in the middle of a racial identity crisis. (hoping it gets solved as soon as i can be an Au Ra)

-General Demeanor: one of those fun kinds of people, but gets extremely serious when situation demands it. Extremely empathetic.

-Before being WoL: Found as young adult unconscious in (undetermined location), I had amnesia so i couldn't really remember who i was or how i got there. Given the surname "Snow" due to my snowy eyes and hair (hair subject to possible changes, but the eyes are constant).

The people who found and raised me were a Hyurian innkeeper family with a daughter/son (undecided) which was about my age. My family deduced that i might be from Sharlayan, because they found me with a pendant with the symbol of Thaliak (the patron deity of Sharlayan) inscribed on it.

Eventually i decided that i couldn't just stay in (undetermined location) my whole life. and set out to see the world. But, the world being the dangerous place that it is, my supportive, adoptive family suggested that i first seek out a guild through which i could learn how to defend myself, so i set off for the Thaumaturge's guild in Ul'dah.

Current situation: Accused of assassination she didn't commit(sorta), she now works for a free company , ("I hear they call people like that "sellswords"") while waiting for Ishgard to fix its bridge :P

But in case you wanted my version..."

This is my story.

"The Shroud used to be a lot more. More animals, more wants, more needs; and those needs didn't go away because some head-in-the-clouds conjurer said so. My parents were a part of "that business", working as a pair to get what folk would pay under the table. Partners became friends, friends became lovers, and one day, Jushiraux and Jiselle Kallera had a baby daughter and named her Etoile..."

Etoile Kallera was born and raised in the Black Shroud outside Gridania. her early life was oft spent moving and hiding in various places due to her parents' occupation as poachers. After hearing about the boom in adventurers, Kallera was eventually sent by her parents to Gridania to join the adventuring ranks, in the hope that she would become a citizen of Gridania and earn herself a better life than they had.

It worked, signing under the name "Kallera Etoile" she started learning the adventurer trade, taking in mining, leatherworking, and pugilism. After having an episode of The Echo caused her to pass out in public, she was sought out by Minfillia to join the Path of the Twelve.

A skeptic at heart, Kallera oft resisted change in the Seventh Umbral Era. She confided in her path companion, a Roegadyn conjurer who was a former pirate turned adventurer. Kallera eventually became enrolled in the Order of the Twin Adder and fought against the Garlean Invasion.

The Calamity had destroyed much, And the battle of Cartenau was fierce as adventurers fought and people prayed. When Kallera was whisked away by Lousioux's ritual and returned 5 years later to New Gridania, She felt the furthest thing from saved. She never heard from her parents again, unnamed victims in the destruction of the Black Shroud. Her Path Compaion was also missing, having joined the Ala Mihgan resistance last she heard("and that was BEFORE the moon dropped."). The only thing she had left was Moomba, her chocobo, and some other chocobo with black tailfeathers("honestly where DID you come from?").

After a while, Kallera met up with Minfillia, who explained to her about the Warrior of Light story passed around by the populace. Seeing this as a bigger headache than the echo, Kallera took to the role with her skills, still as sharp as in the last days of the 7th Umbral era. Eventually she found her calling in combat with a pair of knives and ninjutsu. As she traveled the land helping those in need, what Kallera once saw as her own personal hell eventually looked like a world that hurt as she did. Eorzea was still her home, and they both needed answers.

"...what's wrong with you!? I sound depressing! Give me that!!"

As you might have read, Kallera was raised an outsider, and so has difficulty adjusting to her celebrity status as the Warrior of Light. She loves teasing the smallfolk about it well enough, but still sees herself as Kallera, and not some culture heroine of Eorzean values with more titles than fingers. As such, minor errands don't bother her as much as attending official functions and gala luncheons(especially that last one...). That said, she tries not to share her personal problems, settling for unfounded rumors over true worry.

Anzu of the Zu Tribe is the daughter of Mahri Nunh, who in his day was a great explorer.

Then the Calamity happened and rendered all of his nice maps and other information obsolete. Well, damn.

So, she came to Eorzea to update his work, explore, and plunder -- this was the original order of priority but things may have since been shuffled around.

She likes Limsa Lominsa because the people there appreciate precisely those things in any order. And so a beautiful allegiance was born. 'til Sea Swallows All.

The Mest clan is one of the smallest Moonkeeper clans (there are like four across all servers) as the clan was mostly wiped out during the Calamity and was already in decline before then. Katarh's grandmother passed away shortly before the events of ARR, and her mother was not chosen as the new matriarch; a rival aunt who is not actually a Mest was. So Katarh traveled to Gridania, trying to seek her fortune another way to help support her mother. After she arrived in the big city, she discovered a brother from another mother, Sparrow Signh - Katarh had known her father was a Signh but had never met him - and they became fast friends. She joined a group of like minded adventurers with some old friends and became 2nd in command for a Free Company, The Swarm.

Your story: Bracken is from a small tribe called the raincatchers, where the name Raincatcher Gully originated, that was until the war and the cataclysm that happened 5 years prior killed and separated the majority when the steel birds came crashing down from the skies.

Bracken was wounded and found near wineport close to death by a small group of a twin adder mercenary group, who took him back to Gridania where he awoke.
From there he started seeing visions of the past.

all he wants is to find his fellow companions and rebuild their homeland.

Your story: Cookie was born in a far away Land from a very young princess and a pirate. Due to problems between the two families, his mother was forced to leave him. He was sent to an orphanage that took care of him until the age of 5.
Then one starry night, young Cookie filled a backpack with a bottle of milk and cookies and few clothes, took his inseparable friend the Caith sith Doll, and left the orphanage to find a real family.

He traveled alone through forests, valleys and beaches, eating fruits and drinking water from the rivers.
after few days, he found himself in a little village and a traveling company of street performers found him and decided to keep him with them.

He told them he had no family and that his name was simply Cookie.
The traveling circus was working with moogles and beasts. They created a special show for him and moogles as stars, and from that moment he was known as Cookie Mogster.
The show was a success, acclaimed in many towns and cities of that far away Land.

After 5 or 6 years, the people of the circus decided to retire and he was adopted by one of the artists, an old elezen that opened a toys shop in a big city in the far away Land. Cookie and his elezen father lived in an old apartment close to the sea happily for many moons.

Cookie went to school and learned about Eorzea and the tragedy that happened there, the calamity and the suffering people.
At his 18th nameday, after last day of school, he decided to leave his Land and travel to Eorzea to help the people and start a new life.
His elezen father , before saying goodbye to him told him these words:" Remember few simple things that will make your life easier and happier: respect others, be kind and compassionate, learn to never need anyone in your life, and never look back once you have made a decision".
And a new adventurer was born!
