Does anyone know if Hoary Boulder survived?

I should think so, or we surely would've seen his death on screen. I am more curious about what Tataru's odd smile in Costa del Sol was all about. :I

I think so, maybe I should rewatch the cutscenes and pay more attention to the details.

Too horrible to contemplate. But frankly, Tataru's behavior has always been suspicious, and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out she was Lord Lolorito's daughter and in on his schemes from the beginning.

I remember her being in 1.0 too, for that matter, but there was nothing unusual about her then other than being a secretary character who was something more than just background furniture.

She is one of the NPCs I really care for, if it turns out she is evil, I'm gonna rip my hair off lol.

Guys, we need to be worried about Hoary Boulder and Coultenent, because I love them.

You guys are breaking my heart with the Tataru ideas...I had a bad feeling at that goodbye wave, but your theories are killing me lol...

Unless she's being forced into the plot for some reason - such as being blackmailed. Also, that whole "I want to learn how to fight!" thing was a might bit sudden and suspicious. She seemed rather smirky/pushy with our character during that whole fiasco before the ACN training turned into a flop

Blackmail wouldn't cause that smirk, so I doubt it. Although it would've been way better than willingly.

I agree with the 'pushyness' - I'm inclined to believe she wanted us to see her fail with that carbuncle and all, to further strengthen her innocent image. Although I hope we're thoroughly wrong.

I don't think any of the people engaged in fights and shown 'likely to not survive' will die, not now anyway. It would be far too valuable plot highlights to not show it - I believe they are merely cliffhangers for now, like with Thancred and Y'shtola, Yda and Papalymo etc. :)

Well, even back in the Rising Stones, she seemed smirky (but maybe I over-analyzed right then - and now) and practically pushing passed the warrior of light/us when exiting to run off for 'training'... but yeah, maybe I'm reading too far into that and it was just over-zealousness to get started).

Apologies, also - I kinda latched onto the Tataru thing and ran with it (since I thought I was the only one to notice her seeming 'off') x.x
Back on topic - Pretty much what LeoWilde said xD

I don't think Haory and Cont (can never spell it..) were effected right away - I don't think they were at the banquet (or, I didn't notice them), and if you talk to the people in Mor Dhona, they mention that the people still in the Rising Stones were punted out and arrested. They and a few others were probably arrested. What happens after arrest for being affiliated, no idea... hopefully not execution x.x

As for the scions - it's hinted that one (or more?) may have died via the ball of glow that appeared after Minfillia stopped (post Y'shtola's Holy... so I'm assuming it was either Y'Shtola or Thancred ._. ....or both). Unless I'm interpreting the ball of light as a passing soul and that's an incorrect assumption. *loves to theorize x.x*

Well if Tataru of all people turns out to be one of the bad guys, that'll just be like the ultimate proof of Lalafell being evil, I guess.....

But yeah, let's focus on Hoary and Coultenet. O.O I do hope nobody actually ends up dead (except maybe Minfilia I have no attachment to her whatsoever, after all this time)... =/ realistically speaking, I'd think Scions at the very least have more power in their little finger than some dozen brass blades who are ultimately just simple soldiers (as far as I'm aware). Crystal Braves being mostly adventurers... well, I just hope they can be escaped.

Love reading your theories, I had just assumed tataru was in on it from the start. Hoary Boulder to, his name makes me smile and he reminds mea little of Zelll so I'd be sad to see him go. I thought the majority of the Scions had been killed off, and the rising stones been massacred. Did we find out if anything happened to the Crystal braves captain who was investigating things? I can't remember his name, think he was blond

That weird smile of Tataru is something all lalafell share, I noticed on my lalafell that whenever he smiles or grins, it looks very evil. For the rest of the Scions, I think they are alive, but captured lets not forget that Riol is still in hiding and he is one of the CB who knew that something was going on. I wont be surprised if we find out that he warned the remaining Scions before they got attacked.

If Tataru was realy evil, they would have shown it before the ending of 2.55, I reckon her looking evil is because of the rapey smile/grin emote that this game has.

At the end of the 2.0 storyline...

Wasnt there a female ascian in the group? it COULD be possible shes been possesed all this time and is just a sleeper agent...

Tataru's smile at costa del sol was far worse, i got chils when i saw it ._.
I still think she is the master mind and she has to be there to keep an eye on the hero and has to play her role. This is my POV till i get proved otherwise :)
