I just started playing a few months ago, (november 2014) and have recently purchased the Collectors Edition for the expansion. I was wondering what servers you are on, and what time of day do you play? I'm considering moving server if I can find others from my own country :)
I would also like to know if you purchased the expansion from EB games (collectors edition)
I would guess many are on Tonberry.
Yeah Tonberry is the most popular server for NZ/AU players...
I know a lot of people from Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington on Tonberry :3.
Toberry also has a number of very large English speaking FCs.
Masamune, at night around 10PM NZ time.
Tonberry is made up of SEA, JP and Oceanic. I would say Tonberry is halfway between a JP and NA server, if you have experienced being on both types.
Masamune used to be the only Oceanic server but is now mostly JP, me and my FC stayed here for the quiet and RMT spamfreeness.

Caaaaaaaaael <3 Yes I can confirm that Tonberry has a large number of oceanic players, including those that come from NZ. Cael is an NZ player from my FC so if you end up on Tonberry, you can send him a tell when he's on :D
Hello, I am from Auckland and play on the NA server Ultros as all my online friends are American. I have ordered the CE Heavensward from the EB games online store as they are only selling them online, not instore. Price is $399.99 plus $15 express courier. I play FF on the PS4 after 4pm for a few hours on a working day, but can be on early morning on my days off eg Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday. We always set up a chat party on PS4.
I am so looking forward to Heavensward!! :D
Two of us are from Blenheim and we play in Ultros at all hours. We got the CE from Mighty Ape.
A FC member of mine and her boyfriend are with me on Hyperion, both of them in NZ. Really nice people, but they don't always get a lot of others to play with since the rest of us are mostly in North America or from the UK.
I myself am on Sargatanas with 2 others that I know from work, Otherwise a few on Tonberry and one on Balmung.
Like I said, I'm currently playing on Zodiark (which was only chosen because the software selected it for me) and love it!
I am studying currently, so most of my time is playing at night time (7-10). And on weekends. Ridiculous how fast the CE was sold out on EB. i knew that it was only on the online store, so I was guessing that I could find you somewhere.
That said, the reason I'm asking is because I thought it might make sense for hours wise. I am currently doing Ex at past ten usually, since my fc and server is european and it's their morning. It would be sane to not have to wait around for people and not eat into precious sleep. Well, nice to meet you! I'm thoroughly enjoying the game so far, preparing for Heavensward by finishing main (though I'm doing raids on lab/st/wod regularly currently) and mining. I should be relatively prepared for that when it comes out.
Tbh, it's now 10pm and my FC is active... and it's generally active between these times. About 10pm is beginning to come into prime time for JP so even more people on... I had the same problem as you until I shifted to Tonberry.
