So my friends and I 7 man queue for T9 in duty finder

We all have upwards of 50 clears on T9 so we were like, "Let's DF T9 and pretend we don't know each other and act like typical duty finder people". Then we queue up and the pug says at the start of the fight, "Well I got a couple wipes in me". Then we then proceed to one shot it with this random guy and after clearing it he's like OMGGG WTF??? hahahaha. Then we were like, "Yeah we're actually a premade CONGRATS ON YOUR CLEAR!"

It was the most fun I've had in this game in awhile. I highly recommend doing that if you are the same as my friends and I in game progression. It was more satisfying seeing how happy that pug was :P

We did that a lot with T5. :D

Did that with my raid team once. on top of that! we went to northern thanalan dancing manderville around him, when he finally popped out of his clear cs. We did not stop there! We then nabbed him for t10 straight away and 7 manned it for him. All out of spark :D

Lol. Done that before, except first we spent two pulls completely goofing off. We were jumping in circles and not even hitting the boss, just seeing how many meteors we could drop before we got two too close to each other and wiped. The poor pug was like "Um, you guys are weird." Party leader then said "OK, let's clear for this guy." DF guy stood right in the middle at Heavensfall, so we ended up just leaving him dead for the last phase. xD

I accidentally tagged the monk with lightning cause he was out for a positional. Sorry, man. :c

And then there are people like me that cant find people to do this fight even having phase 4 already memorized. I hate you all!

This is actually awesome. Congrats and thank you for your attitude, much appreciated. Please do not stop! ^^ Really glad to hear stories like this and see people actually doing such things. This is what there should be more of. And I just wish there could be some kind of reward for y'all to recognise your efforts.

I've wanted to do that for a while even with just t5, my raid has a terrible mentality and won't do it ;-;

Yeah there's knowing people who CAN do it, then there's knowing people who aren't buzzkills and WILL do it. We are also doing crazy things like trying to solo tank FCoB content. At one point were trying Titan-egi to tank the adds in T10 LOL (doesn't work too well cuz he dies too fast :P ). I wish more people could see the fun in just goofing around like this.

Fun?! We don't play video games for fun it is a second job. You mess up we yell at you or get fired from the group.

Thank God I'm not like that lol. I usually try to help groups even If they are awful. I'll only leave when someone else does when there is no hope for the group but I will never be the 1st one

Please come do that for me lol

This needs to be a thing! Not much content for raiders to do until Heavensward, why not help the community!

That was probably me! Last night on my SCH I decided to run T9 via DF and we cleared it after the second attempt. First attempt the golems did not eat all the meteors so we wiped. Last night was totally awesome, if it wasn't you guys I still thank you for helping others get this clear!

It was you :3 hahaha we are definitely going to do this again too <3 (We did it another time after you and that guy was the one who was like "I got a couple wipes in me" so we decided to one shot it lol. With you we were derping at first to make you think we were just random noobs :P

Yeah, tried to do this once too.. DF as 7 people, wiped a couple of times (no, not because of that pug), abandoned.. Epic Fail!

I've done this with T5 before-- queued up in DF with a couple of friends with multiple clears and one friend who needed a clear and then we proceeded to clear it after a couple of tries. The other DF PUGs were thrilled. :)

But if I just join some T9 clear group or whatever my expectations are lower. Done yesterday (first real try to carry someone) as we were down our WHM and oneshot with DF sch that was clueless from Heavensfall on. He died in last phase due to lack of xp 3-4 times but he deserved this win :)

The run after was a catasptrphe the Df had no clue and wiped us to simple stuff (meteor placement... pulling golems with Medica 2 when ppl didnt have aggro yet and I said id tank...) we got once to phase 4 but out of the 7 wipes only like 2 were static derps (even if i lagged n had everything in stop motion X.x ) then we called it and moved on to other content...
Gonna do it more often tho some ppl out there just deserve it :)

Edit 16.04.: Went randoms with 4/8 premade with static 2 tanks 1 healer 1 blm we got into T5 out of the duties picked... people were like "I know fight up to Divebombs" and we 2 shot it :eek:

Look. I know this may look like something cool, you're just helping and stuff. But for people like me it's horrible.

It may look like I'm just complaining, but I'm on T9 right now. Yeah, I know, too late. But if you keep carrying people that clearly doesn't deserve the win, when I get the clear (someday) i'll keep finding the same random people AGAIN like "hello! no clue of what I'm doing! don't expect me to read any guide and shit!"

I know, too selfish, maybe I'll do read endgame content with Alexander on 3.0

You do realize that T9's seriously hard part is phase 4 and just making it to phase 4 is very hard in learning groups. I mean my very first T9 clear I just made it to phase 4 and cleared it my first time in the phase too. You gotta see the phase to see what is going on and after seeing the phase once, you can have it explained to you and things click easier.

Also those DF people could have wiped us with meteors or golem derping or divebombs or elements but they did not, we did not ask them to run to the wall and die while we carry them either. They performed fine for the first 3 phases and phase 4 wasn't that bad either so it wasn't a full "I have no idea what I'm doing" carry at all. They tried their best and deserved the clear and can likely take that experience and go clear T9 again with an experienced group I am positive of it.

You are greatly exaggerating the situation unfortunately. In fact, it almost sounds like you're extremely jelly.

I wish I was that guy =) Such a lottery win.

I get your point. The first one really did Adlos and did lustrate and maybe he didnt know when they are perfectly placed and to stoneskin party for Megaflare but he did well and was carried only by our flow. I can imagine if you firsttime enter phase 4 and see people run right left to edge to mid... you go "OK...." but I have no doubt that one will learn his part.
The other one did his faults even after multiple times trying to explain (yea ok theres also language barrier as he was French but my DF wasnt on French so his must have had ticked the E) and he didnt deserve so we called it.

But considering the amount of WHMs i met in "farm" groups that cannot put up a single stoneskin pre Ravens of BF and even don't bother to let M2 tick when second set drops... and I know they got their wins regularly and are at T12/13 while my ppl are casuals and we are just at 11... I am sorry bad ppl get their wins when they show the determination :(

Around the time just after PF was introduced I was on Titan HM for my relic on my SCH. Most of my premade wasn't well geared, and a couple of the people wern't very good at dodging. Myself I was poorly geared for the fight but they wanted to help me get my relic. After failing about 10 times, people started to break up because it was getting late. I decided to make a PF for one more try, in the comment I posted I needed my relic and was a poor gears SCH. Within seconds I had a full group of max geared players ready to help me. It was awesome, they even told me to DPS because their WHM would solo heal. I did die on the final phase but they didn't need me so they completed the whole thing for me. It was glorious.

To this day, my wife and I still queue up for Titan HM just to help out those that need to complete him.

Hey E'lu, sorry to hijack your thread like this, just don't know of another way to get a hold of you. I'm stuck in a loop of 10105 errors trying to log in. If I miss raid just wanted to have a heads up for why.
