Best Items to Desynth for BCIII?

So I think my BSM desynth range is in the 60s, so I might have a little ways to go on this, but what are the best items to desynth in order to get BCIII? I also have LTW pretty much maxxed out and GSM a very close second if those would help,though I'm thinking not as much as BSM.

ALC is easily the best desynth for BCIII, assuming your on a server with a decent market board. Was able to get 30 BCIII in two hours for about 50,000 gil, and I wasn't even trying hard.

EDIT: Not that that helps you, of course. Just pointing out that you may want to take what it says with a grain of salt.

If you pvp, goldsmith desynth the i70 PvP jewelry, it's 600~ wolf marks per earring (one frontline victory), 20%~ (?) chance to yield a BC3.

If you don't like the odds, can move up a tier, but those are 900~ wolf marks per earring.

i have GSM at 100.ish desynth level. what i do i go Halatali/Brayflox HM as WHM (quick queue). there are 2 chests that drop DL gear. one of them is 100% guaranteed for you once pt leaves the instance (completed) :D

99% of people dont know about the hidden chest in Halatali HM. just wait for the pt to leave. then go back and get it.

desynth, repeat!.

no crafting required or anything. it just require time!

(not gonna bother with frontlines queue and 50/50 twin adders to win :( )

Everything you need for it is easily purchasable on the MB or from a beastman vender, unless your fighting with another Alchemist. Even then, its pretty cheap, and very, very fast.

Is there a higher yield chance for giantsgall weapons than other crafting jobs i70 weapons then? On my server, giantsgall weapons would cost cost the same price to make, only with the chance of getting 1-2 instead of just 1. If there seems to be a higher yield chance I'll go for it but otherwise its not worth it on my server at least.

Mossy parts seems to be at very low price leve if you say yes. On my server mossys costs 7-10k, this means 700k-1M price for 100 giantstalls. Deus Ex wants 3 darksteel nuggets it's terrible gathering. 8 ores/hour and 300 needed for 100 books... It seems that the price of a single Gigantsgall weapon is roughly 20k and BCIII's are selling at around 120k on my server.

Lets say the desynth chance to obtain BCIII's from Gigantsall is 20% chance. (if anyone has any information on how often you get BCIII's from them I'd love to know) That means I'll get 1-2 BCIII every 5 desynths on average. So every 100k I spend, I get 120-240k on average.

I can't decide between leveling Alchemist for these desynths or Leatherworker for FCIII's from the bridesmaid / best man's shoes which cost 8k. The thing with Leatherworker is that you're pretty much always guaranteed to profit since there's a huge chance that you will profit off each individual desynth since you also get hard hippogryth leathers whereas with Alchemist it's much more risky because unless the BCIII return rate is pretty decent (like 33% chance or higher) then you could end up loosing a lot of money.

You will rarely get hard hippogryph leather. You will mostly get undyed woolen cloth for the gaiters, or spruce lumber for the sandles.

Also, the shoes are 6k each, not 8k.

I only keep the FCIII's left over after I calculate what it will take from my desynth to cover the cost of the shoes themselves. You will find that for every 100, you will get anywhere from 15-30 FCIII's, 5-6 hard hippo leathers, and the rest are either the wool/lumber (some HQ) or clear demi.

I will usually have 6-10 left after costs are cleared.

So that would be about 240-400k profit for each 600k spent on average (on my server). I feel like that's a safer bet than relying on Alchemy desynth for BCIII's since the price of Gigantsgall weapons could fluctuate.

If you're lucky. Sometimes you can break even, sometimes be wildly successful. Just know that A LOT of people are already doing this, so those FCIII's can fluctuate crazily in price. It's a great secondary income source, but can be very frustrating if you're counting on it.

Personally, I would recommend LTW (FCIII), GSM (BCIII, MCIII), and FSH ($$$). Another good source of easy money with GSM is desynth brass rings of gathering, which cost 40k per hundred, and sell the FCI you get. If you have bad luck, you'll double your investment.

LTW desynthing for FC3s is profitable if you can sell the FC3s for anything over 40k. It is profitable, but tedious to stand there and desynth for hours on end.

My fav way to gather bc3s is to run snowcloak as a goldsmith assuming u get evrey drop from it there are about 4 items evrey run u can break down u also have to count the green gloves and helm can be exchanged for gold smith food so out of all possable drops as a goldsmith u can break down all but 3 pretty good chances each one is a 20% chance to gain 1-2 bc3s and also they break down into rose gold ingots now the awesome side of those is that you arnt done with the item till it breaks down into a rose gold nugget u just keep making rose gold brackets for 1 rose gold nugget till u get a bc3 u finally fail when u hit rose gold nugget now the only problem with that is all the people who need on items just bc they want to but I have found latly letting people know y your there has led to a bigger outcome people are rather nice about it actually

Also another note as your grinding out your bc3s your getting a good few tombstones evrey 800 or so is a plat assessory so 4-5 runs lead to 1 mil of profit pretty quickly
