Bots in Urth's Gift

Jenova server - there are always spirit binding bots standing in the same place , killing lesser kalongs over and over. Please send someone out to observe - tired of reporting them, ty!

Seconded, they also can be found in north shroud farming the plasmoids and dryads at Gelmorra Ruins, near 22-23, and in Mor Dhona killing more helpless plasmoids at Rathefrost, 18-17.

The Urth's Gift and Mor Dhona bots are still there as of today - I looked :(

It's the same on Behemoth, i gave up reporting, bot is still there from 3 months ago. I once reported a bot at lvl 12, it is now lvl 50.... that's only from gathering shards....

There are even bots botting MGP on the minigames, and i am sick of seeing one there for damn days then trying to show off his botted fenrir mount, his name.... Kay Cez

I dont care for a ban on here, goes to show who they really care about....

bots in said areas are old news been there since near enough launch and people have reported them a million times.

Such a shame that SE doesn't have a cleaning strategy, I guess 'subscription revenue' is more important than in-game corruption.

There are dozens of simple ways that people post, if implanted most BOTs will vanish.

Yet whats the benefit of calling the 'Dead & Deaf'? If SE wants than it will clean, but they don't!

Outside Dragonhead there were 2 bot farming ornery karakul.... I couldn't even get one. Suprises are: they actually have a FC (4 members) and chocobo companions to help them with farming. Appears they are also spirit bonding gear and selling materia.

Our bots seem to have a little 4 person Fc too, and chocobos, who also seem to do most of the work for them - creepy.

You know we have this on Sargatanas but its actual players which group via party finder and SB there since I guess its a good spot(?)...

Love how everyone is so quick to call everything hacking...

Player accepts a teleport, seen from outside perspective as a teleport hack. Gets reported...

Player has actually bad lag for whatever reason and the server updates their position in relation to client information being behind... Reported for speed hacking...

Player is grinding SB for ridiculous materia requirements of relic quest for long hours... Reported for botting/hacking...

This community is ridiculous. We wanna police everyone yet we allow others to be jackasses and pull A/S ranks early and not care if other ppl get credit...

So, I could go out there , any time of the day or night and that same person is out there, doing the same thing over and over but that's not a bot? Suuuure, just another honest hard working player, riiiight. Also, hunt boards in another forum.

Since your animalistic tendency blindingly favors aggression and is obviously preventing you from being civil, I'll just reiterate that the context of my post was aimed at the possibility that not every situation is a matter of exploitation but possibly a misunderstanding due to technical issues being observed between two clients.

I would suggest a study in reading comprehension for you, since its apparent that you thought my post a personal attack when in reality (and I should know because I'm the one that wrote it) it was a generalisation of witch hunts in regards to ffxiv.

Since you feel the need to dictate to me where I can and cannot post:

A small tip for you, post your topic where its relevant. This board is about technical support. Reporting a bot is not technical support. A post in regards to not being able to report a bot due to some technical issue would be a relevant technical support issue.

The one on Jenova is definetly a bot. I pulled some of the Kalong Bats and that toon just spins in circles on the spot until it auto targets one, with no other movement.

Reported them twice. They have changed their toon name last time I was there, but it's the same character since they didn't change their Chocobo or their gear.

No such thing as an early pull, those players who say it was early, those players were late.

I can even tell you.. name is like Edburgas something... I misstyped on purpose because I can't afford another forum ban.. but yeah.

That guy's been around since late December AT LEAST.. and still no action.

the 4 BLM bots? with suspiciously American names? with chocobos that have popstar names? yeah, wrote a forum post about that.. that's what got my acc banned -_-

Nah trust me, the BLM we're talking about is a bot.. remember, he said Lesser Kalongs.. That's inside the cave on the way to Urth's Gift, not AT Urth's Gift.. I've never seen anybody make a pf group to kill level 46 lesser kalongs..

Yup - I really doubt that one is *innocent* - besides, if they are , no harm done in reporting them right? :p

I am.. literally spiritbonding with one standing next to me.. He's a BLM, hasn't moved in the past.. oh, 12 hours?? Hasn't moved as in, stationary in the same spot just turning around occasionally.

Level 45 BLm looks like he's botting to lvl up, not a chinese gil farmer. but still, it's crazy how rampant bots are in this game.. I suppose the system allows it actually.. I can just make my macro mouse use 1 2 3 1 2 3 and the targetting, turning around and everything will be automatically done by the game.. I've seen some primitive bots using that simple method too..
