Being a Warrior of Light is defined by what you fight for, not with.

The actual distinction bewteen a "Warrior of Light" or "Warrior of Dark/Darkness" has to do with fighting as a champion of the Light World or Dark World. In most FF games there are 2 worlds that are constantly at odds for the sake of bringing balance between light and dark.

Funny, I was just musing on this...
In Japanese, the appellation we're given is "Eiyuu" or just "Hero."
For some bizarre reason (probably to tie to the older games) the English version translated that as "Warrior of Light."
So yeah. We're gonna be Warriors of Light til the end of time.
