That's their own fault for not understanding how horrible oversaturated hues are.

I support this. There aren't really any other hats that have this mailman look and is available to all classes.

Slightly off the topic, but can anyone post a picture of the cap? I'm stuck at work for 4 hours and still have yet to catch up on the moogle delivery quests, so I can't see it for myself quite yet.

Could you tell them to make the logo in front to be the crest of our FC??? I think more gear should be able to print the crest (and bigger), I loved how the Valentone maid dress can be now dyed and the crest looks nice in front.

The cap the way you wear it now makes you look like more of a police officer than a postman/postwoman xD

There is only one thing i dislike about being miqo'te ... and that is almost every hat is ruined with ear pockets. (I understand helms/chainmails doing it... )

Can you please also give us a version without the ears? As a Miqote I would LOVE to have this hat without the ears on it. Its rather annoying that a lot of these hats where you would think would jsut cover our ears show them and some that you would think wouldn't they are mysteriously gone.

Well, the reason is pretty easy to explain: Making dyeable gear is quite a bit more difficult than making a static piece of gear. A lot of design and planning needs to go into determining which parts of a piece of gear will change color when you dye them, and how they'll change color. While I don't know the metrics, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that the design team could churn out four or five pieces of undyeable equipment in the same time it takes them to make one dyeable piece.

I'm actually switching from Miqote very soon because I can't stand the ear pockets (or the tail clipping through gear). I really wish gear did not have this stuff, as cats are awesome, but ugh @ Eorzean feline fashion aesthetics =\

I 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th this. The hat itself is awesome and looks really adorable, but GODS please free my ears from it. Talk about uncomfortable. And unsightly. @_@


That said, I'm more concerned with the title though...? :/ We get "The Postman" for the first, and "Postman" for the last, and I'm like...really? An article to differentiate was the best of all the ideas that came up when figuring it out? :/

There is one more difference between them. One is above your name, and the other is below. It's not really a big difference, but it's something.

The titles should have been

"Postmaster"

May I request this change SE? It only makes sense because a Postmaster is a step up from Postman/woman.

So true!! Especially with the all the new dyes that can be purchased with real money, It doesn't make sense why half the gear in this game is un-dyeable. PS- I saw you on earlier, fellow Faerie player here! :D

uncomfortable is an understatement, since cats use their ears as a way to regulate their body temp. Perhaps if we all start feigning heat stroke.

Bumping this because why has this still not happened? And why do I need ear sleeves? Just let my ears poke through freely, and let me dye it so I can actually make the hat match other outfits I really like, without having to constantly have a purple scheme going.

I get purple is kind of the theme with dreadwyrm gear but seriously, it's really annoying when it's my favorite head piece currently in the game, but it hardly matches anything unless you dye everything else purple.

If it's too much to free our ears, at least just make it dyable as a start, that way it at least looks good with other stuff.

I would also like to see the cap turn dyeable.

But since it has not happened yet I wonder, is it because the cap is part of the moogle mailman uniform, just like how other set items are un-dyeable.

Why not just make more equipment dyeable as it comes out? Annoying how we usually have to request these things for individual items.

Being able to dye it would be pretty nice, this cap is surprisingly fashionable.

This. How do I hear anything with a hat over my ears like that?
It makes sense for armour (kinda) as you still want to protect the ears. Fashion purpose headgear should let the ears be free!
