What Server did you play on in FFXI

I was just wondering since everyone made the move a while back.
What server did you come from?

I myself came from the mighty Bismarck
Home land was San d'oria.

Race was Elvaan and I would say my name though not sure if the rules would let me.

I had 2 characters on the Gilgamesh Server.

Ryosuke, Male Hume with Red Mage and Bard as his main jobs. I focused on the Magic jobs on that character.
Asano, Female Mithra with Dancer as her main job. I focused on the Melee jobs on that character like Dragoon and Puppetmaster.

Both characters were created in the city of Bastok.

When i think back to the 6 years i’ve spent in FFXI, i haven’t nearly done as much as i have in FFXIV. In FFXIV i’ve almost maxed out all of the classes in the game (only 2 more levels to go with Ninja and about 7 more levels to go for Armorer, Blacksmith, Goldsmith and Leatherworker).

There were so many jobs i’ve never really played in FFXI and missions i’ve never completed… Makes me sad thinking about it. (T_T )

I think I did a lot though I could of did better in my opinion I wish I would have tried for a relic from dynamis.

My main jobs were Samurai, Thief, Black Mage and Monk.

I started out on Ps2 and then moved to Pc recently heard they are going to be closing the xbox 360 version and ps2 version down in 2016.

I hope the game survives maybe get some polishing and changes since no console will be holding it back.

I was on Fairie after the first merge I was transferred to Sylph.

I would still be playing if the Tales of Abyssea didn't ruin the game for me. I do miss my Linkshell mates though.

Server Bismarck ereskigal which I left my character there with everything lvl 99 when I quit back in 2010 tryed to get back in to XI when XIV servers went down for the last 1.0 save but just couldn't get back into XI.

I was on Pandemonium when it was around. It merged with another server and I lost my name. So I stopped playing.

Oh cool, I had a very close friend named Lexia on Cerberus, I didn't think she played FFXIV but had to ask!

Vana'dielian Enki was on Midgardsormr from the moment I started (January 2005) til it was merged into Quetzalcoatl in 2010. Thus Quetzalcoatl is where she has been ever since (I still have my account active, although I don't play much any more - FFXIV has well truly taken over as my 'mmo home'.;)).

I was Catwho, leader of NoSephiroth Dynamis. I was primarily a bard for the last few years, although I played around on WHM, BLM, RDM, THF, and WAR as well.

Finished Gjallarhorn to 99, and Daurdabla to 90, before I got too discouraged by 1500 Heavy Metal Plates.

I was Scottius on Pandemonium (before it went away).

Heithem The hume of Carbuncle.

My characters are/were inside the whale as well! (Bismarck).

Richter and Ninian, both hume, both Red Mage and Dancer. The latter was my alt/mule.

Can’t say i know the name “Astria”, but i do remember a Tarutaru called “Kleenex” who was always sitting just on the plaque in front of the staircase between the Auction House and the Moghouse in Lower Jeuno.

Lots and lots of capped characters on Cerberus. Our LS gil mule got banned with 850mil on him ><

For people that didn't play FFXI the above player had capped gil so nobody could buy the extremely rare items in his bazaar since the 1 gil would put him past cap.

I was on Ramuh, but having recently linked my playonline account to square account I see I was merged onto Bahamut or something.

I was on Lakshmi when I played. Had a Mithra named Coravin, which didn't fit the naming conventions but oh well. I started as a monk but eventually I realized I liked black mage more so started on that, and eventually ended up a summoner. I got as far as getting Carbuncle and then stopped playing. Most of the people in my linkshell played at different hours than I did so it was hard to get things done. On the plus side, most people in my linkshell are now in my Free Company in this game because we became friends outside of the game. And now I live in the same timezone so we can play together more.

I think my most famous is Lianda on Kujata back before the merger. I stopped playing her around when Abyssea first came out, and I think that at that point I had been merged on Valefor.
I have since then created a ton of alts on random servers, to play for a month or two of nostalgia, about once every year.

Most if not all my characters are born Bastokan. Lianda had almost every job at 75, and that was done mostly before leveling was easy. So many long hours of soloing.

I started on Garuda with the name Ophie, but was eventually absorbed into Lakshmi with other Garudans when they merged our servers.

Came from Windurst as well! Glory to the city!

Played for 9 years on Lakshmi.
