Fixed summons?

Thank you so much for fixing summons! It is still odd that summoners are required to farm 1 million MGP to obtain the new summon and yes no other classes require such a grid for any of their skills. Egi's are a complete waste and let down. Fenrir is much more on par with expectations.

Please remove the 1 million MGP requirement or boost summoner MGP gains by 10,000%.

Again, thank you for fixing the shitty egi look. Please fix MGP requirement. Thank you.

And if they added skins to the Egis I would think they would be quest based and not something obtained from mini games

Really? It's a mount?! How the hell do others get to cross class a summoner skill? And honestly, why would you mount a summon? That's like saying Bahamunt in T13 is not you fighting a summoner's pet. I mean it is.

In all seriousness, SE trolled the people who farmed it. Come flying mounts it will be fucking useless. Anyone play another MMO where you still run on the ground once you can fly? It's a pointless grind just to try and buy SE time until the expansion. So rather than actually fixing summoners to be on par with looks and use as FF 11, they put in a fucking card game, more hairstyles and relegated Fenrir to a useless ground mount.

Can a Dev explain why?

No one in their right mind would think SE would allow a single class to get a new skill. All the mount whistles say "summon" in their description.
Idk if I'm allowed to say this, but if he's serious, I hope I don't ever meet this guy in DF. Ability is pretty heavily linked to intelligence IMO, annnndddd. LOL

...I kinda cant believe that someone whos trying to troll fails that badly while doing so... that said I assume hes being serious why I'm trying to explain...

1) Why is anyone cross classing a summoner skill because hes summoning a mount? Its not as if that word would be limited to that one and only meaning of being a summoner skill...
2) Fenrir isnt a summon in FFXIV at all - he might have been in IX, he might have been in XI (havent played it), but he isnt a primal in XIV - but a boss in snowcloak whos now turned into a freaking awesome mount aswell. Just because you were used to him being a summon it doesnt mean that he always had to be... have a look at Valefor in CT...
3) If I recall correct you wont be able to use flying mounts in our current areas - Fenrir will be as legit as every other ground mount
4) Have you seen how freaking awesome Fenrir looks?! The whole point of it is vanity - you dont need that mount, but you probadly want it - at least I wanted a Fenrir-mount after I first saw him in snowcloak
5) ...you might be right about the grind-thing...

To answer your final questition: This isnt FFXI. Get over it. This is a new game - new game, new rules, thats how FF always worked! If you want to play XI, well, play XI... Fenrir in XIV is as far from being a summon as the sheeps that you have to slay outside of Limsa...

I have 450k MGP and when I get it, I will use Fenrir as my mount every single time I am not required to fly because it looks that bad ass.

I remember the good old times, back when trolling wasnt just babbling stupid things.
