how do you get 2400 TT?

How are players getting to 2400 points in 20 matches when players are only worth like 90 points?

They cheat by winning players that have won enough matches to boost their rating. They arrange these wins / pay gil to them in order to get as much rating as possible from each win and thus get to the top 3. It was the same in the last tournament. SE needs to change this so that you just match up to against random players or something. I don't know.. I stopped giving a darn about the tournaments because you won't get a card if you happen to get to the top 20 players (I wish you did), only the top 3 get the card and those 3 are hands down always these cheaters, so there's no point in trying to compete against them unless you want to blow a lot of gil to arrange your wins.

Players with better win ratio and also better quality wins leads to higher points per win (winning against losers lowers your average, winning against winners that have won against winners that have ... etc pyramid scheme)

uhm, most player are worth 90 if you have a draw, getting 2.4k+ isnt that big deal

one the one hand people complain about impossible rng at farming cards , on the other hand everyone with good random rule rng is a cheater

getting no terra in 500 runs is possible, but having better cards than your opponent 20 times isnt? if you search for weak enemies winning is even easier (ppl without 30 or 60 cards)

Except all it takes is three players per server to get perfect scores via cheating and everyone else's efforts are rendered irrelevant. With thousands of players per server and the method of fixing the tournament matches being common knowledge do you honestly mean to suggest there aren't at least three cheaters per server?

It's certainly possible that some players get high scores legitimately but given the sheer number of players with perfect scores on most servers... yeah that's just not likely at all. Couple this with the fact those players' first matches would have had to have been against others who stood to gain very few tournament points from them (as they would be playing someone with no wins yet) and it's fairly obvious who bought their way to the top.

no it isnt, why should it be?

You need to win 20 games with random rule against people who got a high enough score so you reach a 2500+ rating. Sure, it is not absolute impossible.

Its plausible at best. Can it be done, sure it can. Does it mean you or anybody posting in this thread will? Probably not. Just face it, people cheated to get to 1-3 slots for the cards, SE is addressing it, lets move on.

They are not really fixing the main issue in my opinion, they are trying to mitigate fallout and discontent but the top three spots will continue to be filled with win buyers/colluding with friends. The issue for me is the tournament is not working like a tournament should where people are abusing the system to cheat their way to the top for guaranteed cards just like many will cheat their way to the required score for platinum card pack. The only way to seriously put a major dent in the win buying/tournament system exploiting is through removing the players ability to pick his or her own opponents.

All they are doing is adding the chance (probably microscopic chance) that you will win a collector/top end card from platinum pack which will depend on score too, I would not be surprised if the drop rate of the card in the pack is on par with that of for example WoL/Zidane from gold packs (maybe even lower chance). Sure you might be okay with being offered a tiny chance of getting a card from a pack but it's just damage control and not fixing the issue itself with how the tournaments work. No real world legitimate tournament would allow theirs to work like how the one in this game works, this one after their fix will work more like a lottery than a competition.

2400? Levi has a leader over 2600

Anyone with a score like that with the Random rule in place is quite obviously cheating.

out of 20 people listed on our leader board, only 2-3 were sub 2k. Looking forward to some changes. I just hit 60 cards the other day, so yay for 3* decks! At least I can say I did it before they tweaked the drop rate/NPC difficulty.
