yeah i want to know this too as they are dragging their heels on this now

I'm more curious why people are freaking out over an early preorder of a digital edition like it might go out of stock if they don't manage to get it ordered quickly.

It's just the hyena mentality...

I would say give it about end of the month or next month sometime in my opinion

All them PS4 players wanting their "CE Digitial Edtion"

I think there was a PF for GROODA EX Plez, they needed 3 dps and 2 helar. Maybe you could join them.

Well, there are a few reasons for me at least.
1) It's not about a risk of them "running out", it's a risk of wanting to pay when I have the money to pay for it.
2) It's about wanting to get the pre-order bonus items. There's always a (albeit small) chance that Sony will only release it on the day of, thereby excluding PS4/PS3 users from them.
3) The peace of not having to check if it's available every Tuesday on the PSN store.

I agree with wanting to order asap (just... BECAUSE), but regarding point #1 specifically, by girlfriend was having this same concern. My suggestion is to just buy the PSN codes now (I use Amazon, because Sony lost it's privledges regarding my card info years ago) and redeem the codes through the PSN shop. That way the money is ready to go on your system when it drops.

So just giving this another bump still nothing, no word, no release date nada. I would think it would to be to SE's benefit to keep their customer base informed about this. It is a big chunk of change in the their pockets....or maybe they just don't care probably got enough preorders on the other stuff for everybody to retire lol

I already gave up and preordered the physical PS4 standard version and I hope we can upgrade it to a CE afterwards.

Moreso i am like others mentioned worried about the bonus items AND early access which i definately want :)

I want to pre-order the CE of Heavensward for my PS4 digitally but the option on PSN store is not there still.

I just want to have early access and the expansion available. I don't want to be left out of being able to have early access or the pre-order bonuses because it was never put up on PSN in time.

i wanna pre order it get it over n done with that way i know im guaranteed early access thats all i really care about that and the griffon mount :P

A week before the early access begins, that is the time to start freaking out.

Seriously, though, it has been over a year, and literally thousands of threads relating to harmful RMT bots and gil selling spam destroying the experiences of new players and driving any potential new fans away, and they haven't given a response. I have no doubt that until a JP forum thread is made regarding this, written in the Japanese language, it will not be addressed.

Same with the European pricing issue. Thousands of EU FFXIV players have been forced to pay exorbitant additional costs for the same expansion that we are getting here. a multitude of threads were made, including one with over 500 responses. NO response.

Uh, it was addressed in another thread by a rep. Who said that we WOULD be able to get the pre-order bonuses AND early access with ps4 digital CE. They couldn't say when for sure, but assured us it wouldn't be a problem.

Exactly. We already have more concrete assurances about PS4 early access and pre-order bonuses, than we do about 95% of the problems affecting FFXIV today. Don't sweat it, it will get done eventually.

if dont see it on the psn store by my bday (may 20) im just going to have to get it from the se store which sucks because i would like to preload it before early access.

Watch it not be put onto PSN until June 9th.

Well another week gone by....And its looking like it is a problem otherwise it would be up there by now.

We aren't close enough to be worried yet. I have faith we will be able to preorder by the end of this month/early June

Agreed, i would imagine that it will be released either around mid to late may or early june, saves SE money having it in the store.. real issue is if you can wait that long.. i... couldn't >.>;; didn't need that $145 anyway...

Honestly, you could wait.

If you're worried about not having money, then manage it. If you need 60$ for it (or 130 I dunno.), work around it.
There's no reason to be so worried about it and checking it everyday. When it gets released, SE will notify you via News / game launcher logo.

I can almost guarantee that if they wait a few days before EA to get the game up on the PSN store there will be SOME issue that will take a few days to fix. People (myself included) just want to pre-order it so we can stop worrying about it.

not the point lol they had plenty of time to negoiate with sony and yet still no news on when its gonna be available.. its been 2 months already n they say still in negoiations ._. considering pc players have already been allowed to register thier codes and ps4 players dont even have it avialable to purchase yet.. physial ce costs australians 300$ yeah so not worth it

I'm beginning to think that there may be a connection between the continued absence of Heavensward from the PSN Store and the Eternally Shilled Offering that has been a Featured Game up for preorder for over a month.

There are only 31 days left until Early Access... I will be checking the PSN Store on Tuesday. Again.

price difference from physical to digital versions are huge... thats probably why they are leaving digital so late so ppl get impatient n buy the physical instead of the digitals = = 70ish dollars for digital ce compared to 300ish for physical ce in my country.. yeah not hard to see why im waiting :P
