Please make a limit on purchases in the SE online store so scalpers don't gouge us

Please don't allow people to buy like 10 copies who turn around and sell it for twice the price. I'd like to see a single limit per order please so us regular folks can actually get a copy without being scalped by people!

Apparently the JP version that went on sale already sold out. So get ready for tomorrow at 11 am.

Yup, Japanese store sold out but couldn't find any mention of the CE on Amazon JP.

Considering my family needs at least 2 copies (Technically 3, but one can wait), I'd like there to be an option to order at least a couple.

Going to be a battle to buy the CE, much F5ing

Edit: Just checked the JP store, there's still some PS3 CE copies left on the JP site. so not entirely sold out :P

But if NA's is anything like Japan, my F5 key will be getting a work out....

Feel for us UK people... We haven't even been given a release time! I can see my mobile phone requiring several recharges throughout the day. XD

Im in the same boat my friend. I'm stationed in Japan right now but my account is NA. NA preorders open at 3AM japan time for me :P
I'm setting my alarm for 2:00AM just in case :P

I guess if they sell out, I'll be forced to ebay it! >_<;

Doing digital so don't really care but as some have said they need more than one for others in the house.

That's how it was years ago. The problem is that pre-orders aren't really pre-orders anymore, they're simply early sales happening prior to later sales. Think of it as a restaurant where you place a reservation and they tell you you'll have a seat open in 60 minutes, but when you get there they inform you that they decided to give your seat away to someone else because they never had any plans to honor the reservation to begin with. That's what happened in the world of gaming in recent years.

Orders were limited to one per person on the jp store. I imagine it will be the same?

More like... where even is Heavensward? Preorder should be going live in 40 minutes apparently, and I can't seem to even find it on the EU store site? o.O

Are we sure it's midnight? Heard somewhere it's at 11am PDT (which is interesting because that's exactly when my shift starts at work).

Midnight is for the EU version, it is 11am Pacafic for the NA one. SE staggering the pre orders so their site doesn't crash I bet.

Yea I am not from the EU and I checked at midnight so I could get an idea how it would be for the NA one in the morning and yea their EU site already crashed.

NA is going to be worse since we have about 3x as many players then the EU.

Even when I could get in the CE, at £129.99 wasn't available to order, it just kept saying there was nothing in the basket. Looks like their shop servers are as bad as their gaming ones.

yea but us in the europe have to pay £129.99 which is almost £30-35 more the usa have to payto get the CE i know they said differnt region might charge moe but not that much more

That's pretty much always the case though, the "conversion" starts and ends with replacing the currency symbol before/after the actual number. :/

That's exactly what's not helping the situation though... only generates more traffic/requests for the servers, overloading them even more.

EU store is about to explode. Max I can do is "preorder now", then next page is "your cart is empty".

Well i do get to the page. I get to click on pre-order now. But everytime i get to my basket it says it's empty and i can start over again.

With that issue i'm not really that worried about scalpers haha.

Anyone else have this?

Yup, I'm getting it too. The EU site seems to be misconfigured. Or the server overload means that the webmasters can't update the button to work properly. XD

All I get is "service unavailable" or "database unavailable" or a chrome error saying "no data received". Never once could get to even see anything. :/

10.5 hours left till NA preorders are up will I even be able to order?

Almost certainly not, NA audience is bigger, and pre-orders open at a more user friendly time than the UK/EU ones. Good luck.

I was planning on ordering the physical CE from the NA store tomorrow... but 11 am PST is right in the middle of my sleep cycle. Looks like I may be settling for digital after all.

I will cry if I can't pre order my game because of this silly shit ;-;
