79 seconds in sagolii...haha. Lol. These guys are fast...also, there's a black chocobo named Teioh, and he tends to place 1st.

Ooh that's interesting! Wasn't Teioh also present back in FF7? He was a very fast black chocobo too that appears randomly to beat you!

Not sure if the jockey was Joe though.

This time I think the rider is called Joseph, an NPC standing on a side of the giant gold chocobo statue in chocobo square. I'm telling you guys R300 is brutal...I went from winning almost every race in R240...to being last in R300 no matter what. I can't even attempt a 7th place because all of them gtfo long before I realize, they look like freaking rockets xD.
Definitely need a better P9 chocobo to even attempt this.

And you'll probably need the grade 3 feeds instead of the usual trash veggies.

Either that or breed a pedigree 9 with another 9 to get a 10. Is there confirmation there's pedigree 10 or higher?

do you have a screenshot of the chocobo you race against? Fairly intrested to find out if this is a cool throwback to FF7 :)

Yes I can confirm 9 is the highest. I'm tired of breeding 9 with 9 (my own chocobos, not gold saucer ones) and you get another 9 lol.

I retired the chocobo I had in R300 for breeding purposes...but will get there soon again with a chocobo that I got this morning and that looks quite promising. I'll try posting some screenshots once I get there.

And Joseph is also the rider, when you talk to him he refers himself as Joe.
