I watched MrHappy's channel for the translation of Live Letter, and his translator says there will be no physical versions in EU!
He had some doubts after, so is there anyone else here who knows Japanese and can confirm this?
That is a huge blow for us if true....

I assume the confusion was about PS3 version, which is Download only in EU (or CE from SE stores). -

If this is the case that Eu can't get the physical CE I'm so glad I live in the USA and not in EU. On the other hand I feel bad for the people that do live in EU.

I'm amazed it hasn't been acknowledged on here or Reddit... It's a major factor. Big parts of my FC wanted to get that version, and they're gonna be so damn pissed off if this is true

As I said in my previous post the only version not available to europe in physical form is the PS3 version. There will be a PS4 version and a Pc version both of CE and standard in physical form.

The digital only is regarding PS3. The translator confusion after on MrHappys stream was regarding the PS3 version as well. Odds are there aren't enough PS3 XIV players in EU that warrants a physical release.

But I always thought THAT I coul buy the fisical CE FROM the SE store, regardless if I'm from USA or Europe....
Doesn't it work like that? O_o
I mean, I've bought from the SE store before (even if only some plushies) but I still received them, and I'm from Italy... -

It's sad the Square Enix Store does not support selling and shipping physical boxes to all EU countries. My country is not supported so I can't pre order the physical CE from SE Store. I will have to wait my retailers to brig and sell the standard edition and hope some of them will bring the CE one.

Um... well if they bothered to distinguish the SE Boutique as the SE online store in France, I'm pretty sure they would also have bothered to mention if EU wasn't getting the physical CE... o_O I mean that "Pre-ordering from an online store (box and download) and SQUARE ENIX Boutique (Boxed version only) (PAL)" thing is pretty straightforward (PAL including Europe, France being in Europe, boxed version)... but yeah, would be nice to get some clarification about this BEFORE the actual pre-order begins...

the fun thing is about this is What about the UK, they showed the prices in the Euro but not in Pounds, and the shops between EU and the UK for SE have different listings x-x then again i can understand if we are thrown togeaver o3o,
but i still want to know if the CE is coming to the uk and what the price will be D: -

Still not charging when items are shipped, but at least it's now only 10 work days before.
