How many runs did it take you?

To get cards from primal HM runs? I'm on Ifrit #88 atm and no card yet. Got garudas in 3 though. The RNG system cant be this insane. lol

Lol all things rng in this game were like that at start uP. I filled 3 mahatma from ifrit alone getting his card, but got gila and Garuda first try, as well as blue dragon and demon wall cards

I never had good luck to begin with but 89 runs and nothing to show for it. Makes me kinda sad. lol Share your luck. I'm 28/30 on cards so close.

Trust me, you don't want my luck. Pre-buff, I had 600~ fates without an atma drop, my overall card drops are horrible (don't get me started on titan hm), post-buff Alex drops from fates are at an all time low, with a single alex dropping after 350 fates of gold. Rngesus does not favor me in the slightest, I'm too stubborn to quit trying to get the drop.

I just got all primals from NPCs that I could. Odin took me about 4 kills, mog HM took me one kill and Shiva took me 2 ex kills. The rest I got from NPCs.

Are you doing EX? While nobody can prove it, the general consensus is that EX's have waaaaay better drop rates.

Ran Shiva HM/EX, Ramuh EX, and Garuda HM with nothing. And then one Levi EX clear and I got a Levi card. It was nice, but hey, RNG, nuff said. I don't have enough time to farm them anyways, so I just trail roulette whatevs and if no card drops, I move on to something else that's not a grind hell. Sometimes by the time I go through my daily quests, it's already my time for bed.

Dang... Okay maybe my luck isnt so bad then. You can keep yours. I wont ever quit either. Not anytime soon anyway.

Now Noahlimits. You sir are lucky. I got titan card from NPC thats about it. I'd like to be able to have a full hand of 2 stars + 1 rare before I start with the triple triad struggle again. lol

It's not lucky, I just grinded those NPCs to death. I have 73/80 available cards.. everything except the 400k+ gp cards, shantoto, and the four tournament cards that are only available if you win the tournament. Probably spent 40+ hours grinding cards / dungeons for cards.

ex primals usually drop 1-2 cards per run, hm primals maybe 1 card in 5 runs or less

ultima and odin have the same droprate as ex primals

if you want to farm a card combine it with mount runs and just do some ex primals

You know, it must be our hair style and tattoo causing the problem because pre-buff, I did ~800 fates for a total of 4 stones. ^^

Took maybe 10 runs of Shiva HM for me to be able to get that one. I actually got the other Primal cards from playing NPC's, so I can't really say for the rest of them as Shiva was the only one I've actually farmed the Primal itself for.

I got most of my Primal cards from NPCs as well. The only one I had drop was Moogle when I ran a FC member through Thornmarch EX and I didn't even notice it had dropped until I logged in the next day and opened my inventory lol

Levi and ramuh are a lie

Got 3 onions knights first week of patch, 0 since lol

2nd time on garuda farming light

sometimes that retard RNGesus feels generous!

I got titan off the guy in Lower La Noscea, and got Levi card from extreme after 12 runs or so. No luck on the rest of them yet. WoD I've done 20 times no drop of course. lol My friend went in there yesterday and got it on his first drop. My heart of the cards isn't working. lol

The only card I've seen drop in a Full Party duty is Gilgamesh.

imo all primal cards except shiva and moogle can be aquired faster from beating the crap out of the npcs. its only shiva and moogle. these need to drop. believe me : the worst is getting warrior of light/zidane followed by bartz and terra. these 4 cards are the worst when it comes down to RNG.

raubahn card is the hardest npc gettable 5 star. since swift is just a damn jerk of an npc. there is even a hate thread for him XD
