Good looking Hyur Highlander

So currently I am a mid lander but have been considering changing to highlander only they all seem to look bad has anyone made a decent looking once?

So far the closest I like has weuro dark shading around his eyes and I hate it lol

You can play with the character creator you know ;)

Might have to use your imagination for the new hair and stuff but that's about it.

All highlander males are better looking by default than their puny manlet midlander cousins. Set your muscle slider to max, take off your shirt and you're good to go!

Regardless of how you look, you will be all the more ''unique'' simply for being a highlander. Personally I think the shaven head look is badass in a world filled with long salon style haircut anime characters.

"Ugly" seems to be the default for male Highlander, but you can get some good looks if you fiddle around with character creation:

Try using darker skin tone, light skin tone usually has dark circles under eyes.

I've made a highlander male that looks very much like Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3 but I don't have him anymore... my boyfriend fantasia'd him to a female :p

If your going for good looking then theres no other option but Highlander. And if you see any other like mine then just know they are imitations. :cool: I made the mistake of posting mine in the beta forums early on allowing it to be copied.

He does! Most of them run the gamut from "ugly" to "scary" with only a few that I'd consider handsome.

I think most people that play Highlanders are more interested in looking badass than attractive. x3

Yeah, it's pretty difficult to make a goodlooking male highlander, but possible. It's just a shame that many haircuts just don't match the look of a highlander.

One of the main reasons I switched to Highlander was their physiques and because they actually had beards. And it seems like people do like highlander since switching to one a few weeks back I've gotten alot of tells from people I don't know and them telling me how goodlooking my character is compared to when I was a miqo'te (none).

I'm still experimenting with hair color/styles

Honestly, I think people just overlook Miqo'te because there's so damn many of 'em.

It's hard to make one look unique.

I really like Male Highlander, especially with tan skin. Mostly I only see people become Highlander only doing cameo of Godbert and Hildy, but my reason only for his... MUSCLE!

I find far more better looking Highlander males than I do Midlanders, to be honest. I've yet to see a good looking Midlander at all.

Plus being a highlander lets you do all the crazy things, like running around all wet in pink clothes and still look fabulous

I really like being a Highlander, but I purposefully made him ugly and mean looking, because all those pretty boys look like they belong in being the "Bottom" in gay porn, not that there is anything wrong with that. I just rather look like a guy who's been in many battles, with grizzled looks. Not to mention I'm almost always covered up and rarely without clothes except when gathering when I'm shirtless under the hot sun.

Absolutely, I really complement this game on allowing that to happen. Especially as an Eastern-developed MMO, usually anything that isn't a 100-pound prettyboy/ 85 pound girl is automatically shoehorned into a few really ugly, lazy tropes.

I've been thinking of making a dude alt, and i've been torn between Miqo'te male and Highlander male. This thread is making it tough.

The problem with highlanders is the face options.A good amount all use the same face(the one i'm using and in some of the other pictures). You can still make other good/cool ones but it gets kind of boring seeing so many similar looking faces.

The problem I have with highlander is I want the beard from a different face but prefer the current face I am using which has this gimpy goatee which I hate. I'd post a picture but, lol stuck in loading screen

I agree, I wish there were more face options. I've never seen an exact copy of myself, but I've seen lots who look very similar to my character. Although I probably won't change him at this point.

Edit: I also wished we had more beards. My actual beard is longer than my character's beard. I would change the beard in an instant, if I had more options.

Agreed, midlanders have 6 available faces for male and 5 for females. It also looks like many use the same face option for the male highlanders and while everyone is slightly different due to variations of facial features the base is still pretty the same. Doesn't bother me too much since there isn't that much highlanders in general.

I also think many people (including myself) chose highlanders since they wanted their character to have facial hair
