The /huzzah emote

I know this is probably the wrong place... But I can't find any correct place to post this question.. ;p


What I wanted to know is.. Is there any way what so ever of obtaining the /huzzah emote? It was an event quest in 2.35 apparently.

Atm though there's no way of obtaining it as far as I can see... not even in the cashshop >.>

Please tell me I'm wrong.. ;(

I thought it was just simply added in a patch?

No it was a limited time event, I know because I missed out on it as well ._.

It was a reward for "The Rising" event, which marked the one-year anniversary for A Realm Reborn.

Hopefully they'll give people another chance to get it for the 2nd year anniversary. No way to get it otherwise at this point though.

It's not a very good emote anyway, so you aren't missing much!

Speaking of missed /emotes. I didn't get the /throw one. I hope there will be a way to get emotes or dances that people missed.

/throw is available in a quest in the Observatorium.

Well, they brought /Firedance (/Bombdance) back, I can only assume that /Huzzah will make an appearance at the yearly event next time around too. ^^

That emote is horribly animated for a hellsguard roegadyn bard, but it looked fine on my friend's midlander hyur bard

I wonder if I'm just remembering wrong or something, but I thought for sure it was listed as seasonal on the event calendar back during the anniversary celebration in aug/sept when all the events came back around.

Edit, yes it actually is listed as a seasonal event, here: http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/anniversary/na/
so you can probably expect the emote in the cash shop somehow if they don't bring it back in next year's event.

/huzzah just went up in the mogstation!
