Well, do you? If so, why? If not, the question stands :D
I personally do not, and only run them during the first month and a half after a major patch (even patches) for the Myth/Sol/Poe.
...no fighting others opinions either.

i quite enjoy them even more so when get 3 first timers via df lol makes runs more interesting XD
I enjoy most of them.
Tho I hate exp roulette along with Sastasha and Cutters cry HMs to the nuts.
I personally really like dungeons (overall....of course there's the rare Aurum Vale that wants to make me cry).
I love the dungeon design in this game, and on the extremely rare off-chance we do a full run I go back through the dungeon and take screenshots.
The new Amdapor Keep HM is so great. I love it, it's my fav of this new patch. I think if you get into the mindset of "oh, just gotta do this dungeon for the end rewards/roulette" then yeah you aren't gonna have too much fun with it. Gotta take a breather and look around a little.
I enjoy them a lot. It's better than the dungeons just being places you walk through to get somewhere (or something), or just camping bats in the same spot for EXP. It's satisfying to get through a run.
It depends on the group. I do enjoy teaching new players. However, I wouldn't say I go out of my way to dungeons. I prefer open-world activities and trials.
I like it, but would be nice if they were more dynamic, like, random generated maps, map is hidden until you discover them each time you enter, traps, around like reaching a dead end, a wall closes behind you and you have to fight a miniboss and defeat it to release the door :D Rare Mobs that rarely spawn, seasonal mobs, exisiting bosses having a rare chance to be buffed (can be seen by looking at them like having an extra shell, or hand, or whatever) and of course defeating is harder but better drops. And the list goes on.
While I do like current dungeons, it DOES, a lot of time, feels like I'm pressing a replay button on a movie I already watched 55 times D:
I enjoy dungeons a lot, but there are a few that I just don't like doing. Mainly Dzemael Darkhold; it was fine the first or second time I did it, but now I just sigh when it pops up in roulette. It's not bad per se, just I find it the least interesting out of the bunch.
Depends. I don't mind the newest 3; they're fast and simple without really worrying about speed running. Low man dungeons are a means to an end for me (leveling/tomes) so as long as they're simple and quick, I'm okay with them. Unless I'm leveling something, I don't like a lot of the older dungeons in this game, because they're too drawn out. If I'm going to spend a long time in a place that also requires my full attention, I'd much rather it be an actual raid.
Yes, I do enjoy the dungeons - still. Must be something to do with the fact that I do not treat the game like a job and speed run the crap out of the content in pursuit of the fastest possible route to the Zodiak weapons. People who chase the upgraded relics like it must be done yesterday have my sympathy to an extent. But the truth is, the boredom that many players express with dungeons and other content is a consequence of trying to obtain the upgraded relic as quickly and efficiently as possible by speed running whatever is giving bonuses at the time, and ultimately burning those players out on that content. In other words, this is a self inflicted condition, at which point the extent of my sympathy has been reached and I can no longer sympathize.
I want to elaborate regarding dungeons because someone mentioned that they feel long and drawn out. To me, the point of playing this game is to play with friends, make new ones and have fun with the content in the game. The dungeons provide a reasonably relaxed way to play with friends and enjoy playing the game. Play is not only about vertical progression. In fact, the manic drive for progression seems to me to be very nearly incompatible with the idea of playing for fun, since the goal is progression, not merely fun.
Players who are on that vertical progression ladder describe older dungeons in terms of "old", "obsolete" or "irrelevant". The thing is, that content may be older than other content, but it is neither obsolete or irrelevant since those are both subjective assessments. To the player with ilvl 130 gear and T12 on farm and one or more upgraded relics, the older content might seem that way, but to the players who take their time, the older content is neither obsolete nor irrelevant.
I feel that players who have, in their view, left that older content behind, need to leave well enough alone and stop issuing derogatory remarks about that part of the game. The fact that in their view they have progressed beyond that content, does NOT alter the content, nor it's worth to other players. That comment is not aimed at anyone in this topic in particular.
I only enjoy dungeons when they first get released because everyone is new, when everyone is new people don't expect what will come from the boss and I find that fun. After that pretty meh personally, when everyone is new they speak about tactics on what to do but now that everyone knows like a ghost town in dungeons....just silence...
I'm not a big fan. I know that they make them more accessible to all type of players but I always thought the Hard modes should be.. well hard and have gear appropiate to the difficulty level. I think this game would benefit greatly from harder 4 man content.
I would enjoy them more if they where open world zones with mobs with respop timer, maybe even if they have it where once you clear it becomes open world or open to x cluster of servers. So what ever data servers your in there will be anyone can enter that dungeon any time no limit on people that can enter.
I didn't mind dungeons all that much until Zodiac Quest, now I hate every dungeon in the game. SE likes to ruin content for people. Before Zodiac quest I never did low/high level roulettes was a waste of time even if I went as a tank. I'll stick to Expert Roulettes.
Only a few dungeons I find fun, as in the mechanics are fun, like the demon wall fights. SE doesn't even give much incentive to do low/high level roulettes if you're level 50. I could finish a Sycrus Tower run in 20 mins and get more than I could running the roulettes.
Extreme Mode dungeons would be great...... If the rewards were worth the time. I would like to see 8 man dungeons.
Sad to say but no, they too simple and boring, but most important, there is no any loot.
I like them, however some of them are just too long/boring. I think they did an exceptional job with a few of them (snowcloak being my favorite, others like AV and Haukke, those are for the birds) I wish they would add more of them to specific roulettes. I'd love to still get a dungeon from last patch come up in my expert roulette. Having only 3 available will wear you out rather quickly.
The one thing I hate about them, they don't have any good rewards. If there was an incentive to run them besides poetics it would be nice. Sorry but crafting materials and low ilvl stuff is not enough of an incentive to me.
I enjoy them a lot! Especially when I run it with someone who is new or struggling. I like to help them learn and grow. As a tank its nice to be the one to dictate the speed of content so everyone is comfortable.
This is exactly what I meant. Just becaue my tank has less hit points and I cant cleric stance more often doesn't exactly mean the dungeon is harder. Just more tedious. Extreme version of dungeons would be refreshing. Imminent Danger. I don't want to play the compare game because each game stand on its own merits but there are some MMOs out there that I have really enjoyed their dungeons and game choices when it comes to them. I like danger. But thats a personal preference ^__^
I enjoy dungeons only with my FC mates! They are totally cool and fun to do stuff with. Doing dungeons with strangers tends to make me hate dungeons, because there is always that one whiney player who likes to talk crap to any new person or when someone makes a mistake. That's just annoying as Hell! I'd rather do open world stuff. That's more relaxed and don't have to worry about other peoples opinions.
They're fun the first and second run. After that I can't say I paticularly enjoy doing them, only ever running them out of obligation to cap poetics. Maybe if they were less formulaic. Most are just a hallway with trash followed by a boss, repeated 3 times, the only thing changing being the zone itself and the music (which is usually top notch).
I just don't feel dungeons have their own identity gameplay wise to make each one stand apart from the rest, notwithstanding some bosses with fun mechanics. Visually and in the music and sound department, most are excellent. The rest just falls flat, quickly becoming a repetitive and plain experience.
I enjoy dungeons, as it allows me to play around with other players and see how I can adapt to their play styles and habits. As I main healers, I personally believe a healer so be adaptable to any situation and thus working around differing variables helps with that.
Bonus points to enjoyment if the group is talkative, laid back, and respectfully funny. I tend to ignore douches when they do pop up.
Hell no. They're painfully boring. Extremely monotonous with no challenge. I avoid them as much as possible and it pains me to grind the exp dungeons to cap my poes if I haven't managed it some other way by the end of the week
I still find them fun. I love running with newer players (its why I do Low lv Ro everyday) I like the lower lv dungeons better then Ex or Hm dungeons. The Ex dungeons are too short and are full of speed runners and rude players (IMO).
I love running Low level Dungeons because they make for good practice. You can't overpower everything, you must do the fights right. This makes for great training. All in all, I give Dungeons in FF 14 7 out of 10. I'd like to see DFs become longer in the future with Added bonuses for clearing all rooms.
ps: Low Level DFs is how I trained myself to be a healer on Scholar, after only playing DPS roles up that point.
I have enjoyed dungeons, but then came Zodiac for Relic.... now i am tired of dungeons
I do like them, dev team has made some really fun boss fights. Although I feel there could be changes. Trash mobs serve no purpose besides XP and the making the dungeon longer, this too me is not fun at all. I'd like to see some puzzles like in single player FF (there are some dungeons with "puzzles" but the idea needs to be refined). Boss fights including other mechanics besides dodging telegraphs, make it epic and long like Shadow of the Colossus with ways to earn XP within the fight without the grind of trash mobs.
Dungeons are fun but I feel really need some work and different mechanics to keep them fun and not so much of a grind since most of the game's grind requires dungeons.
I enjoy them on their own, but I do not enjoy all the silly excuses they've put in the game to make me run them again and again and again (see: TT, relic, rare drops for furniture, vanity gear, desynthesis items, any kind of light). That made me sick of them.
I enjoy those that have different things like Halatali HM with the traps that give monsters vulnerability. They need to add more things like this!
I enjoy them for the most part. The environments are nice and, with players of the right mindset, are fun.
My biggest problem is when I have party members that expect everyone to have it memorized and try to speed through as fast as possible. I see dungeons as a way to interact with other players. Speed runs, especially in df, feel like the player only joins parties to service their own needs and would be content if the other party members were just npcs.
Then there are the players so focused on the end result such as tomes. They find the "most efficient" method for farming what they need, they tend to run the same piece of content ad nauseam that it's no wonder they tend to be irritable.
The first few times of running it sure, especially if it has some challenge to it. But the 50th time not so much.
No. Dungeons are meant to be explored, with a variety of mechanics that allow you to uncover hidden areas and the like. These are just speed run zones with some bosses and a bunch of trash in between.
The worst offender is Keeper of the Lake, which, since 1.0, many of us thought would be where the endgame content would be held (like Coil, etc.), not just another throwaway dungeon. Cutter's Cry, Aurum Vale, and Dzmsdbfgkjdfbgbkd Darkhold are also sad shadows of their former selves.
I do, but under certain conditions:
It's a fun group. Loose, fun, has a sense of humor. I don't need things to be perfect, but neither do I want disastrous. It's a game. Game's should be fun. But it also shouldn't be work. You need to balance the two.
Which is where number two comes in. I don't grind. I try to mix in other things: triad, racing, maps, dailies, Atmas, etc. I always try to have other things to do so that I'm not grinding. Because the grind is what takes a toll.
I've never been a big fan of dungeons in past mmos due to some bad experiences. I don't mind them in this game so much but usually only try to do what I need to. That being said, I've enjoyed fighting the primals I've fought as well as the first couple of 8-man dungeons I did to complete the story.
As a whole, I enjoy the dungeons. Individually, I can only think of maybe 1 that I just outright dread (I'm looking at you Aurum Vale...)
As others have said, it also depends on the group, as that factor alone can make the dungeon either tons of fun or a complete nightmare.
But as per your question OP, yes, I very much enjoy running the dungeons, and do so very often. :)
I used to find them fun back in the day but lately I haven't had much interest in them. The reason being that they are too easy for me to enjoy them. If the challenge isn't there then I'm probably not going to be either unless I need the reward from it. There are plenty of other ways to get poetics and I find myself capping without entering any dungeons at all on a weekly basis these days.
That said, I still enjoy them the first few times I run a new one but that's about the extent of it.
I like them when they are fresh and new and I don't' mind for the most part doing them 1 or 2 times a day for roulette.
I frikkin hate levelling in them though it makes them so boring and monotonous and just isn't fun. I really hope they plan to add a lot more low level side quest content in 3.0, because fates, leves and dungeon spam is mind numbingly bland.
I would probably like to see them structure dungeons more like crystal tower where you get segmented sections to fight boss and trash mobs, its very linear yea but it would just be neat and simple.
They should maybe focus more on random dungeon generation also, it could make things a lot more interesting, both for monsters and map layout.
The last boss should drop a decent piece of gear also, not something that will be instantly turned in for company seals.
Not really. Every dungeon is pretty much about 80% the same dungeon as the last one, just with a new coat of paint on it. The bosses are the only real difference. On top of that, doing a dungeon a second time changes absolutely nothing. There's nothing dynamic about them at all.
If they had at least some partial randomness to them, with multiple paths, and worthy loot in areas other than just the boss fights, I'd probably like them more.
Also, better loot than what we get now. All gear in dungeons is inferior to easier to obtain items from other sources.
