Who do you think are the best PvP players on your data center?
<------------------- me
Kisada Exis and Tea Pan are up there. :o (oh I almost forgot General Esdeath)
I also enjoy playing with Aesir Macleod, Graves Forscythe, Vuud Staralfur, Ryk Silverwing, Valin Durai, Jukos Skyhawk, Haru Glory, Manaboy Seiken, Leo Asami, the Tesildors, Akari Theron... there are just so many names on Storm (Primal) I can't name them all! :(
Behold my magnificence!
I was #98 in the world for the 4th week of February. Lol.
I haven't done as much Wolves den, but I would consider all of the teams we fought during the Ultros tournament top players. You can take a look at that thread for a list of people who entered.
In terms of Frontlines it's tough to single out a few players as it's more of a team thing, but the best group I've run against is the Sargatanas flames group, mad props to those guys. Getting wrecked by them was how my group significantly improved and I strongly believe that until you get crushed by a good team you're never going to be able to dramatically improve.
In terms of single best person on our data center (which i'm judging based off of seeing them solo queue) I'd say Gryzz Odyss followed very closely by Momoko/Popoto. Gryzz used to do a lot of solo queuing and I can count quite a few games where he queued alone and was the sole reason we either lost or had a closer game than expected. When we saw the choco mask it really got the adrenaline pumping.
To be a top player in Frontlines takes both skill, but also leadership. Knowing who to focus, when to push, when to run, and when to hit mid often has more impact on the outcome than individual fighting skill.
Don't worry gaiz, I'm back on primal data center to pull flames out of the ditch, you're welcome! =P
Good luck, Zen! ;P
When I queue up and I see no one I recognize, I worry, lol.
Aether

There were many other great pvp'ers, these are just the ones I've played the most/remember back in the days grinding from rank 1- 40
Gotta give credit to where credit is due right? Here is my list of top players I've ever had the pleasure of facing on Primal DC ever since 2.1 on their prime. I've always learned something when facing them. Forgive me ahead of time if I dont list all of you, I have terrible memory @_@

I haven't seen Pho Killa on in forever but I still remember him solo healing a 3v8 battle on a flag on Secure with me & Pancake Bunny while he had 3 PLDs chasing him until about 90 seconds later the rest of the party showed up and we wiped that group.
Well as for frontlines-wise, Caj Two is another one of the better BLMs for Twin Adders. But Kisada does usually takes up the leadership and coordination pretty well, also tends to be up there in damage too.
I never caught the name but Flames used to have a good/annoying lala WHM.
Wait. That Curty...ask him if he played Ballista on Fenrir. If he did, tell him HWW says that his THF sucked in 60 caps.
Ask Ayerro if she was also from Fenrir. If it's her; tell her HWW says to get on skype!
Wait, is that also Rece from Fenrir on FFXI? Hold on, hold on....did I just find a bunch of the Ballista players from FFXI?
Makes me sad to not see names like potse dlk(paladin), straigus reyist, Zeth Lyons (all hale Lyons den). Kind of suprised not to see that pink monk on the list either give he's probably smashed more than half the server in the den and lol frontlines
Been going up against the Ultros groups from both sides [Adders + Flames] and they're scary >___>. Been winning though in all the matches but I'm still scared as hell.
I had a 24 man Secure match yesterday afternoon where I think I attained a personal best in terms of how many simultaneous players from the other two teams I successfully kited and distracted on Scholar without dying (and while still healing all the teammates around me). I used my PS4's 'save last 15 minutes of gameplay to video' feature when it was over so I could see it again, and it was astounding. Of course I can't take all the credit for that, I had some great players backing me up, and only three of us on the team had ever played alongside each other before so we weren't even a half premade.
So here's how many I counted. We were on mid and four of us we're fighting 4 Maelstrom people as they tried to make their way back down their ramp, I'm mainly focusing on healing my teammates. A Maelstrom Paladin comes jogging by from where they were fighting at the Flames side of mid, and I'm expecting to end up fighting them off but they don't slow down just whack! to stun me and keep going. About a second later I see why, almost an entire Flames party was behind them but decides to get me instead, and here's where I had to exhaust my entire bag of kite & survive tricks for like a minute while my backup arrived and picked them off.
I watched the video and here's how many people I had attacking me at the same time:
Immortal Flames: Dragoon / Dragoon / Dragoon / Warrior / Black Mage
Maelstrom: Paladin (who came back once their pursuers had swapped back to me) / MonkorNinja / Scholar
Attunement gives 10s of Invulnerabity as most people know, once that wore off I basically grand marshaled a parade around mid, running a few loops around the big red poles at the top. By circling a pole and leading the Flames chasing me through the Maelstrom team, I was able to shake some off me, and my teammates took care of the rest. Final Score: 800 us; less than 450 each of the other two teams.
You just can't have that kind of fun in Slaughter mode. Not saying I'm the best there is, I know that sure isn't the case, just saying I'm exceptionally hard to kill. If you ever see a Hyur Midlander Scholar who looks practically naked aside from bright metallic gold dyed Elklord set hat, gloves, and boots, that was probably me.
You can see enemy glamour and that is how I figure out who is who, haha.
Me. No Contest.
Honorable Mention: Everyone in my PvP-based LS.
Also, I would destroy all of you in under 5 seconds, even as a healer.
#GetRekt
get a group of 4 together and let's get some games tonight then. Ile get my 4.
I was originally on bahamut then server xfer to fenrir and siren to pvp with bigger communities. It was fun, prolly played with you guys on my fully merit monk with capped guard skill, man those were the days!
For Midgard:
Una'to Windblessed was always a good healer to be paired with. I would usually stay WHM and work with them.
Pretty sure most these names are all highly dependent on premaids. best monk I seen is reign valor guy would average 10 kills 10k damage without any help or heals.
10k damage wouldn't even amount to 10kills.
All these names, I would like to add you Garu and I would add in the warrior Rotokk and all the other guys from the Levi pre-made team.
My buddy Final Aeon and myself have started a Maelstrom LS on Behemoth just for pvp so we can start trying to get pre-mades going from our server. I would like to get into contact with your Pre-made team from Levi Garu so we could try to que together.
I might be making alts to get in contact with Exodus and Behemoth in a bit. Last time I tried for Behe, it'd always crash before the opening cutscene was done. >_>
I'm still kinda new, but these are some of the consistently good players I've seen on Adders lately: Kisada Exis, Tea Pan, Docfiord Fowling, Caj Two, Razzle Dazzle, Stacia Stone, Kosmos Kosmos, Monzcarro Murcatto, Ingroh Elwonfin, Sir Kratier; just to name a few. I only did two matches with Buff Archer what posts on these forums, but on principle he seems to know how to get shit done too. Hopefully I'll see him around some more today.
I confess, the names of good healers elude me, mostly because things like kills and healing numbers on WHM/SCH aren't always a good indicator of performance. On the Mael side I know that Garu and Luna Hearts are good, but that's about it. If anyone knows the names of some good Adders healers, I'd love to hear them, but I think people rarely pay attention to stuff like that lol. I only notice if them if they're exceptionally bad, and if they're bad I rarely see them beyond 4 or 5 matches before they quit.
yes the best healers both heal and have substantial impact outside of healing
