On a serious note, 3 and a half months? that roughly adds up to 23rd June. I get that HeavensWard is a huge deal, but seriously.

There's really no harm in taking a break after 2.55 is released if you feel that you won't have enough content to keep you entertained until 3.0.

I hope in 2.55 is more than the final 2.x story part

Sorry, I take any slight delay for a more polished game than a buggy mess that will result in people crying rivers.

They said it was going to be May but they decided to delay it to polish it more.

And even so, we can expect unpolished things anyways. It happens when you don't test things at larger scale.

I have faith that things will be at a minimum with the bugs, so I'm good with the slight delay ^^

Perfect for me. More time to enjoy Type-0. I was hoping for a bit of a delay actually to take a break and come back with enough time to help friends level and what not before expac.

When I saw the release date my toughts were:
- More time to level everything to 50
- Release comes AFTER I'm done with my exams and handed in my thesis
- Wooohooo

Heh, the game is going to be pretty slow until then. Spring will be a good time to chill and do some other stuff.

The silver lining I see to the 23rd June release date is that I have more time to work on my Sphairai & Gae Bolg relics.

People whinging about the date being far off are usually the first to whinge about the game having bugs and/or other performance related issues, then proceed to lambast the developers with stupid things like "You should have taken more time to make the game, OMG!" and "Wow, stupid developers can't make a game work, I'm going back to COD!".

Seriously, never complain about a release date being further than what your patience requires to satisfy.

More time to level all my classes to 50 and gearing them up. I like the release date, it gives me time to play Witcher 3 in May and it will release in the second week of my summer holiday.

Late June was pretty much a spot-on expectation. You may not see it as spring but when they originally said spring release I suspected late May to June. I'm more worried about the lack of content we may have between April to June though, it'll all depend what we get at the end of this month.

Nobody is doing content anyway. Triple triad took over the game. Plus we will get to mess around with the benchmarking software in april.

I wonder if there be any new primal battles or anything else significant between now and June 23th. Are we done with ilvl increases?

release date is A-OK by me

I'm happy since it means I can level crafting and gathering classes.

I way prefer that they pushed it then have a buggy and rushed version!
Also gives me time to work on my WHM and SCH relics!

Upside to it being June. I called it and now I have time to take a break after 2.55 and play MH4
Downside? It being June, so summer, so more money on electric bill, so less chance of CE lol

Cool, more time to finish leveling stuff up, get my relic(s), and save up for the CE. :)

I'm guessing you have not been here long have you? Buggy mess? maybe not much of real bug because that 1 month they could fix it. But it still be a hell of a crying rivers on the forums on how imbalance 3.0 have made everything.

I had a hunch they might slightly delay expansion. I'm just happy it's summer, they could've delayed it more! :D

And if you get bored while waiting, why not play other games that might be gathering dust while we're too busy playing this?

3 - 3.5 months is perfectly fine. At least its not the typical 12-14 months gaps like WOW keeps serving its players xD

And since it is June 23 it goes perfect as that is when I start my 2 week summer vacation from work and I staying home relaxing :D
