Anyone else having a problem getting in, or getting in as a party?

I had this problem a week ago trying to do this for weekly quest, I guess because the vast majority are doing the run right after reset to get that carbontwine and then no reason to return.
DPS Queue-> 80 min (gave up)
Healer queue-> 23 min (decided I might as well go DPS with a long wait like that)
Found a tank to queue with -> 5 min
As a healer I was in in under 5 minutes yesterday so I can't say I had any issues. It was just me.
I managed to get in under 10 minutes by myself, so I think there might be a problem with DF concerning groups.
Yeah for Labyrinth it seems like it's best to just queue with less people.
I'm thinking the DF doesn't queue groups as a unit, so it has a harder time fitting larger premade groups into whatever setups are available
I havent been able to solo Q in Ct for 3 days now. As a DFS.
Same ( as Healer). The longest I've ever had to wait for any of the 24-man queues is about 20 minutes which was like 3am. Point of interest... there is never any DF wait for any queue usually on Monday around 5pm as long as you queue as healer. LotA requires two tanks per party, so it has a longer wait due to less Tank population.
What I do for that quest is I queue all three Raids, and do them in whatever order pops. Usually WoD (less than 5 minutes), ST (2-3 minutes), LotA 10 minutes or less.
the Raids are made up of three full parties - Sometimes it's looking for 2 tanks/ 2 heals but they need to place them in two seperate parties therefore queuing together can actually take longer.
Best way to get around this is to form a full party. ( or a full alliance ^^;)
Meh I go in as DPS all the time, even on offtime on my server it can take like two hours.
Fish or watch Netflix or something while waiting.
Aether Data Center is not bad, my FC usually queues between 8-16 ppl every Tuesday night starting with CT1 thru 3, usually no longer than a 6 minute wait time for queues.
I find it really hard to get into CT1 on DPS (tried MNK and BRD), 60+ min queues I give up on or a pop for some other duty first.
I find it much faster to get into CT1 on Tank (my PLD queues aren't too long).
This is for solo queuing, haven't tried in party.
It would probably help you if you had 1-2 tanks in your party.
What does your "group" consist of? Do you have a full party of 8?
The labyrinth is pretty unique in needing 6 tanks. I've been quing my alt job BLM for the last 2 with good ques but LoA is still much faster as a tank roll. I kinda wish they would re adjust the dungeon and fix it to 3 tanks. I mean at first I was excited when I saw that in the first 24m there was a high number of tanks which made me think that square was trying to get people active in tanking by offering them lots to do in end game raiding. I was quickly dismayed when syrcus tower dropped back to 3 tanks.
So tired of tanks being the minority class. Break up encounters into multifights, one man tank and spanks suck.
must be the data center.
I get a max wait time of 5 minutes as a dps when it comes to CT, ST and WoD. On my Healer I have 25+ minutes and my tank gets a timer of 48+ minutes.
I always click all langues on top of the duty finder window and in progress when going alone. It saved me a lot of time especially right after reset when everybody and their mother wanna go lol.
I'm on Primal data center, same as yours. I've never had to wait very long for any of the 24-man Raids, and I always queue as healer.
When I queue for the Raid's I bring up the DF window and watch the numbers. I can predict two things to be true from it:
a) Labyrinth tends to always be short one tank or short one DPS once all the Healer slots are filled
b) The underlying system is doing "party backfilling" , eg you get a faster queue if you solo queue because you get paired with parties who had someone drop out or disconnect (or withdrew the last time the message popped)
And just based on the message pop rate. Sometimes you have to confirm a half dozen times because various parties have people AFK, thus kicking their party to the back.
