We'll absolutely consider adding Gold Saucer-related tasks to the challenge log.

Instead of rewarding XP and Gil like most of the challenges, they can reward MGP and Racing Chocobo XP.
Perhaps even bronze/silver/gold cards.
Defeat 5 different NPCs in a game of Triple Triad: Reward, 500MPG
Defeat 5 different PCs in a game of Triple Triad: Reward, 1 Bronze card pack
Defeat 10 different NPCs in a game of Triple Triad: Reward, 500MPG
Defeat 10 different PCs in a game of Triple Triad: Reward, 1 Silver card pack
Defeat 20 different NPCs in a game of Triple Triad: Reward, 500MPG
Defeat 20 different PCs in a game of Triple Triad: Reward, 1 Gold card pack
That would give 1500 MGP per week and a chance at a 5-star rare card from packs.
And for Choco Racing
Place 3rd or better in 5 races: Reward, xp equivilent to 2x 1st place wins for your rank.
Place 3rd of better in 20 races: Reward, 1 Grade 2 feed sellected at random.
Place 1st in 10 races: Reward, xp equivilent to 5x 1st place wins for your rank.
Place 1st in 30 races: Reward, 1 Grade 3 feed sellected at random.
A challenge log for bonus MGP would be great. It would give you an extra incentive to do what's available in the Golden Saucer.
Do GATEs, play TT, give a real purpose to the mini-mini-games (Cuff a Curr etc) and may even push people into trying Chocobo racing.

Card packs as challenge log rewards isn't a good idea. After a certain point, the packs become useless. It'd be much nicer to just get MGP from the logs. Also, no other challenge log gives items - what if your inv is full when you fulfill the challenge log condition?
I agree. It should be MGP only to stick with challenge log tradition. Sure, cards can be exchanged for MGP. But why not just give the MGP? It's true that no other challenge log entry rewards something that is not a numerical statistic such as gil, experience, wolf marks, etc. That's what achievements are for.
Agreed, not to mention that card packs take up precious inventory space and, if your inventory is full, then you don't get the reward. Also, for folks like me, Bronze Packs are pretty much worthless and don't contain any cards that I don't already have. Silver has a few (Kobold, Lahabrea, Minfilia, etc.), Gold has two very important ones (Warrior of Light and Zidane Tribal), but yeah. After a time, packs just become worthless.
MGP doesn't take up inventory space (though it really should be on the Currency tab of the Character screen), so that would be ideal.
^ This. Not only should they be on that tab, but you should be able to switch the gil HUD display to MGP by clicking on it. Currently, clicking on your gil count switches between gil and GC seals. It would be extremely nice to have MGP there as well, since when I'm in the Gold Saucer, gil is meaningless and MGP takes its place. Tomestones and AS are more multi-dimensional forms of currency - when you're farming those, you're getting more than just a single currency, so having them only be on the currency tab makes sense since you have to go there to see them all anyway. But MGP is a single-dimensional currency - when you're farming MGP, you're only farming MGP.

They should add Hunts to the Challenge Log to get Allied Seals. I had mentioned this earlier, but said to reward Gil, but Allied Seals would be better.

Back on topic. I would definitely like to see Gold Saucer in Challenge Log. That's one of my favorite things to do is the Challenge Log and I would definitely like to see more added to it.
Well, Allied Seals already sorta have a challenge log - the daily/weekly hunt marks. That serves the same purpose as a challenge log entry and it awards Allied Seals and gil, just like a challenge entry would. However, there is nothing like that for MGP. I mean, there are the lotteries, but that's totally different.
Imagine: you have one inv space free (because space is really tight in this game, that's totally plausible). You're playing vs the Indolent Imperial. You win, fulfilling a challenge that puts a card pack in your inventory, and you see the message: "Unable to obtain Gaius von Baelsar card" because your inventory is now full.
The tables. They would be flipped.
I'd really like to see a bonus for the mini-games. Like a little reward for each for beating it 3-5 times (like the dungeons). Not many people really play them because their reward is so insignificant, but I think a weekly reward would really make them alive.
(How do you even do the Moogle one anyway?)
It's a crane game. Hold the button down, then let go to set horizontal. Do it again for vertical. Took me a ton of tries to figure that one out. The intuitive thing to me was to just click the button, expecting it to just start moving, and a second click to stop it, but that's not how it works.
I have not discovered this moogle game you speak of. I will find this tonight :D
I started off just doing the greg one, because, well, it's easy. I also did the basketball toss one, and you know what? I found you had to be really accurate to get a basket, and it was easier to get better payouts with greg.
They're pretty much all the same game - hit the button (or let go of the button) at the right time. Alright for minigames, but I'm hoping they introduce bigger minigames later, like the snowboard game or the bike game. Longer with better payouts and more skill required.
