1.19 Excitement Thread

Starting to get really excited for 1.19. What are you most excited about?

I am really interested in seeing how the stat adjustments will work. Materia? (All right!) And what about chocobos? I just want to hear everyone's thoughts on 1.19 and what they are excited for.

I'm excited for:

-Quests for full induction of Guild Companies! Plus I want to hear a good speech!

-Caravan Escort!!!!!

-Stronghold Raids!!!

-Treasure Chests in Field Areas!!!!!

-Materia System!!!

-Personal Chocobos and Airships!!!!

-Grand Company Leves!!!!

-New NM for Low Level Dungeons!!!

-Chain Bonus and Linking Mobs!!!

-Battle System Changes!!!!

I'm excited for that number on my start game screen to change from ver 1.18b to 1.19a - sick of seeing stupid 8's....

And seven ate nine... :D

Excited for new story content! Also hoping that thet fix the moonwalking with a proper animation transition. (dynamic animation transitions were invented 5 years ago SE T__T)

I want Ifrit. He's been acting all friendly on several FFs and now he w.ants a piece.

I'm excited about the whole patch, its gonna be a good one! Makes me wonder what ffxiv will be like a year from now with patches like 18 and 19 stringing back to back.

I was exicted, not anymore.

Simple. The abolition of physical levels and the associated boost to stat meaning.

Are you really excited? excited like a child on night before christmas. Because i can't see how anyone can get excited over a patch. I'm happy the patch is coming and Chocobo's are the only thing that has really caught my eye.

Honestly, I just want stats to work right.

I look forward to this patch as well. If I'm allowed to name my chocobo Drumsticks, then it's a bonus ^^

I'm excited about most of the changes, and challenges to come from 1.19. Everything from claiming, linking, and calling reinforcements, to the new stat values and materia to accomidate our best classes. With everything I see ahead of us in FFXIV it looks to be a turn for the better and better. Remember keep the feedback focused and positive, and constructive critisizim is always welcome.

I can't wait Chocos KWEH!~ and working stats of course!

Oh and exp chain sounds sweet

Too much excitement and hype leads to disappointment.. js.

End of september will be a good one for sure.

FINALLY!!!! THE PATCH TO MAKE THIS GAME A REAL GAME!!!!!!!! I was excited about auto attack but that obviously wasn't nearly enough, the dungeons were cool but not much to do.
But OMG!!!!


EXP Parties like in FFXI again?!?!?! Chain bonus?! YES
Chocobos?!?!? Airships?!?!?
New materia system?!?!?
No physical levels anymore so a 23 archer is the same as another 23 archer with the same gear?!? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO MUCH !!
Now we just need to start using that party search feature again!!!
Only thing I'm worried about is finding a decent camp LOL

Firon just wants some materia system to make his pgl have godly evasion :)

Im excited about having another means of travel ie chocobos and airships(i never have any anima). Materia sounds interesting.

Chain bonus and linking will add challenge to solo and party play. Also curious to see auto attack animation fine tuning....hope its noticeable.

September will be busy now as a gamer with GoW3 and ffxi version update all coming probably around the same time.

Atleast in a few days we can start saying "this month" instead of September lol cant wait.
