The restaurant

I think it will be interesting if the restaurant at 2/F will provide special food/drink,
for example, a food add 150% moving speed buff within the map or a drink will keep your face at a specific emotion within the map..etc ^^;

Give us the ability to have drinks in our hands where we can walk around and sip it, and it gives us a buff of "Under The Influence" and our character walks funny or stumbles.

Yeah that's a great idea, the place could really use some shop that sells anything useful. I use Swiftsong to move around the place but I feel other players who don't have bard/monk/ninja yet should also deserve some speed advantage. xD

It's a nice flavour place, but yeah, it'd be nice to see it serve a purpose as well!

Definitely could use some alcohol or less 'adult' beverages to purchase. Even if we have to use mgp to buy them. Just don't make them 100 gp a piece. They shouldn't be more than 10 mgp. Food should be a bit higher. Leave the price gouging for the glamour rewards.

+1 on the drink/food buff!

Here's an idea to expand on it, instead of the +3% xp we're used to with consumables outside of the MGS why not have this establishments food/drink give us the "Lucky" buff [Copyright, Fealow 2015 XD] which gives us +3% MGP gain on all activities for 30 minutes. Obviously this is useless for the smaller mgp prizes such as the arcade games and some triple triad matches, however they could just give you a flat increase of 1mgp for the arcade games and say 2-5mgp for the triple triad as part of the buff.

Personally I wouldn't mind if we could get some cooking dailies from the restaurant. Hey if Typhoon is alowed to work fore Gpdbert, why not us?

So I am not the only one that was bugged that their was Restaurant symbols but nothing important at them :3 ? Hope they do expand it and involve it in some way.

Borrowing from another idea. What if it was made into a crafting mini-game ? A player could volenteer to cook up something as a part time worker. When it was done it would ping the map and another player could buy it for 1 MGP and obtain the buff which could involve movement buffs, increased MGP gain, maybe something cool that interested with [GATEs] ? Depepending how the part-timer did at mini game, the food could do different things. Where it would debuff player. Maybe give him food sickness animations when he walked around =p ? Of course the part timer would earn MGP based on performance. Do you aim to perfect the mini game for high MGP and helping a player out ? Or bomb it and prank someone at the cost of MGP.

Perhaps it could even be its own crafting GATE.

I think it would be pretty cool to be able to order items from the waitresses and have your own little cutscene or something when you sit at the tables so you can order something. It wouldn't be anything special or anything... just something added in to give it it a bit more "character." I do like the GATE idea, even if not the crafting mini game. Maybe you be hired to deliver food, you could use strafing buttons to balance the tray while you walk to a person ordering. If you knock the drink/tray over you fail. Something fun, interactive, and silly like that would be so cool imo. Right now I feel like the current GATEs are so limited, there are so many neat aspects they could introduce, and I really hope they continue developing and this doesn't turn into a forgotten part of the game like Chocobo Racing became in XI.

I also want a item that you can equip or use as like an "off-hand" like... a balloon prize you can only have equipped in the golden saucer, so you can run around with a little imp/moogle balloon. (like the floats in the zone) That'd be so awesome... D: Maybe I just want a floating balloon following me around while I run. (Oh! Even a minion would work.)

It could be cool if that 30 min "Under the Influence" drink buff really messed up the timing on the minigames (the punching one/crane/etc), but slightly raised the rewards if won, say from 5 mgp to 10 mgp.

I can see it now, a bunch of lalas gathered at a table drinking and getting a non-stop laughing emote buff until the buff wears off. XD

Can we please get a
/hangover fml face down on arms on table emote added to the change poses while sitting option?
Cuz i think it would be fitting as a lot of ppl will have uses for it after they get blown of the arena on the 1st round 5 times in a row.
Or losing to king elmer 10 times in a row lol.
Also don't forget the where is my bahamut atma.... Card after beating king elmer over 100x lol
