You sound like the people who bought materia when 2.23 hit only to find that you can't just cram level 4 materia into a novus right away, it took time.

If you were smart you'd buy the crossbreed plants and dirt needed to make those.

Its the same as before, do all 3 CT parts, this time you get a choice between accessory upgrade or main gear upgrade

Triple Triad has a much great variety of rules than I was expecting and tournaments! and there are more chocobo abilities than I was expecting for Chocobo Racing too. I couldn't be more hyped about this patch.

Woo relic is i135. Guess full crit det meld will finally be paid off

Nah, ill just buy the plants itself, make a quick money double, and then go back to my normal money making.

other than chocobo feed, this patch means nothing to a crafter. its a minor QoL patch to shore up CUL usefulness, that's it.

I remember hearing somewhere on tha Reddit thread that each "Atma" was supposed to represent a stat? One was Strength one was Piety, etc. I can't remember where I found it though. Perhaps you don't have to farm them all?

That's something I rarely, if ever, see. Most people who have worked to gain their Dreadwyrm weapon have long since obtained their relic, and are happy about this, because it allows them to have a perfectly statted BiS weapon, instead of "spell speed for summoners" weapon.

There were a lot of complaint threads when the Nexus update came out making the relic the same ilvl as high allagan. Not that the forum complainers represent the majority of any side.

LOL you obviously didn't see all the whine posts back when Nexus was revealed to be i115 (as in the same as High Allagan). You could have filled an ocean with the tears.

Like you said though, the forums represent a vocal minority. People who are happy about the addition are unlikely to make a post on the forums, whereas people who are unhappy more than likely will.

Exactly. When Nexus was on par with HA weapons, people cried that a "casual" weapon shouldn't be as powerful as a coil weapon. Oh the laughs that were had.

cant wait for maint to be finished this patch is the best yet <3 considering ive been waitin months for GS n triple triad made me love ff14 even more nows <3 lol

No encrypted tomestone, guess they are really pushing the relic this time.

I want to be able to wear the bunny costume too... :(

There are people who have worked to gain it for a long time but don't have it. Relic is at least certain.

Chocobo racing looks amazing. I am really looking forward to getting into it and see how it all feels.
