Relic Special Consideration

As most of us know here, 3.1 will have an entirely new sets of relics however the people who grinded their old relics will be given "special consideration"

What do you guys think of this "special consideration"?

I'd suggest a mount with a higher calibre than Kirin since we can all agree that we spent more time grinding the relics than ponies

I'm pretty sure they mentioned that the current line of relic will continue into 3.0.

A mount would be a slap in the face in my opinion after all that work.

I suggest continuing it into the next patch or allowing it to be traded it to skip a phase in the new relic.

Saw this the same way. If they give the Zodiac players a +1 in the quest that would be cool.

I like that idea Xatsh... I'm working hard on my relic now to try for that "special consideration" I don't know what it is, but I don't want to miss out...

I agree having us skip the first quest where you have to go get like a rusted weapon to make it instead use the zodiac we have.

There's going to be a nifty title for finishing the relic quest line, and nobody can take that away from you.

If it was something like "Legendary Yoichi" or something like this im all for it!

New glamor for Relic bearers XD

May god hear your words. I want the relic quest to continue in the 3.0.

As a personal opinion, I think people that want a new relic it's because they can't stand the grind with the current one. With that being said, chances are that they won't get the 3.0 relic either, because it will probably be a hell of a grind too. So... and well, new players can get the patch's weapon as they work towards their relic. That quest helps to populate the low-level dungeons, which I think it'll be an issue with all the new content.

Some little bonus would be neat, but for me the reward for the relic quest is the relic weapon itself. I don't think it needs to go on in 3.0 or give me anything else besides the weapon it promised me at the outset.

Special Consideration deserved: being able to glamour the relic model onto other weapons of the same type and that is all.

As a person who has the relic done as far as it can go at the moment, I realy see no need for anything special for it.
I did the relic quest for the relic why is anything more needed or deserved?

I got my use out of it and I can toss its model on other weapons of the same type if I am that proud of it.

I personally hope the 3.0+ relic has nothing to do with the 1 we have now. Doing a long quest getting use out of it and doing another long quest is fine. Forcing people to go through all of the current relic which will have 0 use when the level cap goes up is just pointless.

All that was mentioned was that the relic quest would continue in 3.1. No one knows for sure if that is the current relic being upgraded to the new version or if it just means that the relic quest line in general is happening again.

Honestly, it makes little sense to upgrade a lvl 50 item to a lvl 60 one.

they didn't say "continue," they said that there'd be a "sequel."

I'd say in 3.1 you'll be able to buy the fully upgraded weapon or complete a short questline for it, and then begin the new relic quests from there. So you'd be able to use your "free" relic for the new quests instead of buying one. The only difference between new and old is that the original stats would still be on the bought weapons, but you'd be able to buy a sphere scroll to fix it later without having to complete any quests for it. /pessimism

Really just needs to be a head start in a new questline like others have mentioned. Maybe the better the weapon you have, the more steps you are able to skip in the new quest.

I don't really care either way. But if old relic is a requirement, then I would like to know now xc I have alts xc

I want another tattoo, like the legacy mark
