Technically.... happened before.... can't ride one of them though... Fat Chocobo theme and Regular Chocobo theme lol.
Wasn't there 2 theme for FF7 chocobo and race choco? and I think FF5 regular chocobo VS black chocobo I think had different music... been long ass time since I played FF5 so don't remember

Several Final Fantasy games have multiple Chocobo themes. FFXIII has two, IX had several, VIII had at least two (I'm counting the mobile version, though), VII had a bunch of them, V and IV also had a few.

That's a horrible rendition of the Chocobo Theme, but it could be worse.

because FFXIII is the complete opposite of what FF is supported to be..... and every time you turn around the game throws crap at you, the battle system alone is enough for me to hate it.

Just out of curiosity, why did a thread dictating the desire for Chocobo music turn into a thread based around how much we hate all the other chocobo music? It's like, "We want Chocobo music, however please keep in mind that we hate chocobo music, so we're going to yell at you no matter what you do."

An even better point.

That music that already exists, I'd say it feels like the Grand Company version. With so many orchestral hits built in and all.
Something more gentle for the rental Chocobo?

I hope riding your own Chocobo-music will be a bit more toned down and laid back because there is no timer involved.

You can be afking on your chocobo for hours or waiting for a pt and during moments like those you don't want the BMG to go all BANG BOOM WESTERN! all the time.

Even more awesome would be dynamic music that changes to a more up-tempo version when you're moving but that might be a bit too current-gen thing to ask.
