So the THM support spells, Slow, Gravity, Paralysis etc seem to be a bit lackluster for their large 60 second cooldown. I can tell you right now that absorb MP is a much better 60 second cooldown spell than the support ones. They all just seem kind of "should i put this on my bar, its kinda meh" (except silence and the absorb spells)

the problem is not only trying to land the spells but even some of the mobs drop the effect quickly too. if i try to paralyze a piste or a raptor it lasts for 3-5 sec maybe. but use it on the ogre or any other dungeon boss it sticks for ~15 sec. doesnt make much sense. if something can resist a certian effect make it never land and a mob that can get affected, the spell should last for a signifigant amount of time to make it worth while.

I'm not having any of these sticking problems, nor do I have much of a problem with it not lasting too long, on average every paralyze on most mobs is 10-15 secs for me. But for I'd like buffs and debuffs or just basic enfeebles to be lowered in potency and made to last 3-5 mins. For me mobs are a big problem in this game as to why our battle system seems lackluster, the mobs are still squishy with awful tp attacks and they all have a ranged. When they fix the "all have a ranged" problem heres to hoping maybe they'll beef up some mobs. Honestly paralyze and slow are still worth it, they just aren't as effective or needed as in xi where paralyze and slow were required for basic leveling. I think maybe we were confused about their direction for battle, maybe they don't care about enfeebling at lower levels, maybe they felt like the new populace of people (non xi players) would only worry about debuffing once it came time to higher levels and end game. Idk but personally I think enfeebles are big part of what annoys me in the battle system. They should be more important, rdm is laughing at thm right now.

But I see your point. I'm a 50 thm 50 cnj and some of the debuffs just are worthless on mobs.. Yay he's paralyzed .. for 2 seconds.. what use is that? it's a waste of mana and time casting..
