'Cracks' in East Shroud

Randomly going to S rank in east shroud and....

Has this happened to anyone before lol?

Fallen through the floor? yea I fell into the sea in limsa before.

Never seen this before lol. Maybe it's your graphics card?

Reminds me of Assassin's Creed Unity lol.

The very first time I did Hullbreaker, when the Kraken threw me I fell through the islands and was crushed under water. I think the game just glitches sometimes.

There's glitch spot on mist too where you can go through inside ocean of Mist

I fell through limsa once too, and ran out over the ocean for a bit.

It's a pretty common type of bug in games with a 3D engine. I'd suggest submitting a bug report. Unless you like it.

Nearly all mmo's have their random glitch spots where you can fall through the world. 11's twitchy spots tended to be at the Ferry and Airship docks. I ended up underneath the dock at Kazham and had to call a gm to get me out.

That's why just about everyone has the /stuck command that teleports you a few feet away from your spot or failing to find a valid place close by will send you back to your respawn point.

In beta and just after launch I would fall under Limsa and East Shroud a lot. I got stuck under the map in a perpetual fall in Mor Dhona once. It happened when things would lag with my old video card.

At least with Limsa you can run down to the fisher's guild, jump on the docks and get back to the playable area by running through the zone line from the opposite side, but in most cases you have to return or teleport.
