Spread out.
That'll be 500,000 gil.
Lol thats a lot easier said than done with sheep.
There's no skill in spreading out. Skill = jumping someone 1v1 and hitting 7 buttons in order to take them down, which is why there is no skill in slaughter.
That doesn't beat the BLMs, that is only a preventative measure to not get 6+ people taken out on a round of Cometeor spam.
Yea definitely. People say you need to "co-ordinate" to get the cometeor stack to work. Saying "I have a LB, going to use it on mael" and having someone respond "I'm ready too" in voice chat is not a skill at all. Running back into the zebra herd when you get hit is not a skill either, although the general population can't even do that right.
Skill is when a BLM can do useful things when meeles and bards are interrupting them like back when secure was a thing. There is absolutely no skill at all in slaughter, and any good slaughter group would get wrecked against a good secure group in a 8v8.
*spreads out* ... *gets picked off by every black mage and bard dragoon and paladin in the realm* d-did i win.
smn is key, that will be 1mil gil
I wouldn't get to into it Momoko. He has some issues. I thought this was his way of being amusing. But it looks like its just an extension of how he prefers pvp. Which he is welcome to have. Just be happy he is on primal and not Aether.
The simple fact is, every melee i see out there pretty much just runs off thinking they can solo everything. Myself personally just sign em 1 heavy and we burn em down as a team (note complete randoms in my team all the time unless healer friend with me)
Work as a team and your unstoppable take control
Or use macroes
focus that blm
/focus
stay near that blm but dps something else
once you see your focus target cast cometeor use
/ac "Shoulder Tackle" <f>
your target will be stunned and lose half of their adrenaline
profit?
It is hilarious, had a group of four ninjas camping out jump pads zerging anyone who went by. That's the answer 4 cheap Cometor kills, cheap ninja kills. Build up lb and go up top and kill a blm then keep picking him off.
Dude, I PvP nearly everyday, on BLM. It literally is the easiest thing for any player that knows the basics of how to play BLM. Am I thrilled? Yea sure cause I play BLM, I get to rake in easy kills for my achievements and look like I'm doing stuff with big damage and a good K/D. Am I proud of it or do I think it takes even two brain cells to do? Not at all.
I'm not trying to be elitest, but saying that the solution to the issue to is to spread out is just bad.
Also wtf is a free casting melee?
Edit: You edited your post so mine is now out of context. Your original one had stuff claiming that I don't PvP or play BLM.
He is the only person I have blocked on the forum.
It makes reading discussions/disagreements about PVP much easier.
But it is really just that simple. That would stop 99% of these cry babies. Have you ever died to a cometeor? Once a night, if that? Yet, people act like it's OP...
If it's not elitism, then you have some kind of guilt issue with finally being able to cast in PvP. How is what you're doing in Slaughter that much easier than a melee in Secure interrupting 80% of your abilities by using "auto-attack"? It takes skill when you are being completely shutdown by a player, but that doesn't mean they have any skill. A few months ago nobody in their right mind would have called for BLM nerfs. You saw maybe one BLM in entire alliances because they were extremely frustrating to play and basically free kills for melee. Since then almost nothing has changed except SE made an instance with a big shiny carrot in the middle of the zone. Like lemmings melee run in face first and expect to be invincible like they were in Secure. It's sad that almost none of them ever learned to play defensively in PvP, but that doesn't make you or any other BLM less skilled.
To the bandwagon, I log on to the forums and see a new nerf BLM's thread everyday. So what do you expect? Learn how to position yourselves in Slaughter before asking to nerf an already very weak class.
A few things:
Pressing fire 3 fire, fire, fire, fire, bliz 3 without moving is, for all intents and purposes, about as basic as you can get skill-wise. It requires the bare minimum amount of effort and any decent blm can actually tell you that it's tougher to find someone who can actually do their cast rotation properly than a melee whose combo lights up for them as they go. If you want to get super technical, a blm using a proper rotation is harder to find. But both that and a melee pushing buttons are pretty much on the same tier of easiness. Let's just assume your average player will press buttons once every few seconds.
Having played both sides of the ball quite extensively, I can definitely say that I do see a basic caster as a lot more vulnerable than other classes. But that's just it: they're only more vulnerable That doesn't necessarily mean they're free kills. Any blm who is half-decent knows how to play enough get away and should know how to kite well enough that they won't get eaten up in 10 seconds. And yeah since you're innately more vulnerable, you will die more than if you were a tank vs melee or a melee vs melee. But there are plenty of abilities and tactics that allow you to either get away freely, live an extra 10 seconds, or cause some disruption as you're dying. That is the crux of any skilled player in literally any form of competition: making an impact in every single action you take, even if it's while you're dying. The skill for a blm is one who doesn't let his or herself get killed without kicking and screaming to their death. This is the ultimate difference between a good blm and a bad one, because the results are so much more polarized and higher stake. Your margin of error is far slimmer as a blm than it is for most other classes. But blms who can ride that margin of error are the ones who really shine in pvp.
So by definition yes it does, in fact, make every single other blm less skilled if they never learned to play defensively in pvp. You send a melee at me in one situation and you switch me out with someone with half my experience.
I sleep. He sleeps.
But I lethargy. He doesn't.
And I bliz 2. He doesn't.
And I bliz 1 after bind breaks. He doesn't.
And I sprint away and sleep him as he's heavied. He doesn't.
I live. He dies. That's skill. Don't pretend otherwise.
This is the lamest thread, Lvl 45 BLM here<
