Had about two or three 8v8v8 Slaughters where we held Adders or Flames at 28 or 29 points for a few minutes to make a comeback win. :) Those are the best.

Was quite a while ago, but I think it still takes the cake for my group...

You can tell how long ago by those old flag icons lol
I wish I screen shot it but BLM with like 12 kills , utterly destroyed everyone.....it's not a pleasant memory ....*the flares the horror the slaughter.......pun intended
I chased a pld off a cliff on my nin, and proceeded to laugh maniacally as he died to fall damage while i survived because of ninja job traits :3
Oh! I remember a Secure match where we were holding Temple against nearly the full Flames group with just 8 of us... it was glorious.
I still like my groups crazy LB:

Best matches were in Wolves Den after Bunnyhopping hotfix patch. Where the best from Gilga/Balmung/Admanatoise use to play all day everyday, where pvp gear was actually worth using. The feeling of going 1v1 against players like pompey/Felix/Lx lee etc... (u know who the rest of u are :P). Those were the best days of PVP No doubt.
I would have liked to be around during those days. :(
Probably a wolves den match I had before frontlines was implemented.
40 cap. Was playing BRD (not my main), enemy ranged was dead, WHM was low HP, but my entire team was wiped. managed to finish off their WHM, but that left a DRG and WAR to deal with. WAR was having serious connection issues, so only had to deal with the DRG and not get cornered by the two of them. For the DRG, DoT and bound him and/or used sprint to keep him away, all the while chugging hi potions on CD to survive the bits of dmg he did get in from jumps/distance closers. Managed to take him out, which just left the WAR. He couldn't close the distance very well because of his lag, so we had a little ranged attack fight. Rinse/repeat for a win.
We really didn't deserve to win, and 99% of the time good players would've crushed me. Still felt pretty damn good though.
Getting focused by both sides and pulling out a win by LBing a High target and killing a node to win by a single point in 8v8v8

When Frontlnes had been out a couple of weeks, and I was myself new to PVP, I was running as Scholar and returning to either Manors or Markets solo on my mount to rejoin my party after assisting at OP, and a Paladin and Monk tried to double team me. Got hit with heavy, and said 'Screw this....', dismounted, activated Cleric Stance, and killed both of them.
As SCH, one time Aura Blast and instead I get Battle High.
I had a great clutch moment in a game.
Slaughter 8v8v8
We are 24/30 they maelstrom are 28/30
I see a great oppertunity to sleep a big group and they are all at ~80% hp
Use limit break, but someone heals them with healer LB before my castbar for LB is done
Everyone at full hp and from nowhere a black mage casts flare and they all go to 50-60% hp and then my lb hits and I get 6 kills and we win the game. I screamed at my screen cause that blm made such a clutch move
Whenever a dive succeeds.

Great video! It's nice to see that some people understand how to be effective melee in Slaughter.
For myself, I think my most memorable matches were when Slaughter first went up. I completely dominated that plateau as STR geared WAR by figuring out the effective tactics early on, regularly ending each match with battle fever. I vaguely recollect it was day three before the Cometeor spam began and my days of dominance subceded ... :)
24man secure. Flames got the center node - they had an 150~ point lead. Match was almost over. (They were at 750ish of 800 I think).
They are late getting to mid at 15:00, 2 of our dps were up there killing drones so they panic and split some hold flag and rest go mid.
We take their flag, their score is holding at 795~ but now they are mid and just 1 drone kill would win it.
Our dps LB their targeted drone, stealing it's points and the win from them.
As for most memorable? Probably a 48 man secure that I played a month or so back.
I've always sort of liked 48 man secure the best, because it requires a lot more thinking and strategy than 72 but isn't quite as dull or empty as 24. Anyway, we had got in, and it went about as normal, we got the sun temple, Adders had markets and Mael had manors...
The usual exchange of posts was going on, and it was pretty close in score. All 3 teams had about 700 something points and it was getting time for the node to spawn. I rallied the other alliance together so that we may go up and get the node, but for some reason, Mael and Adder weren't having it. They promptly shoved us off the edge and effectively killed any chance we may have had at getting the node.
Naturally, I was annoyed, but I knew better than to go back up again; it would have been too late. So we split up and went out to take the remaining flags that weren't in our control. We recaptured the markets and held Mael and Adder's OP while the node was going on, so that while they were getting the drones, we were getting 16 points every 3 seconds anyway, which was pretty much equivalent to those drones.
By the time the node was over (I'm pretty sure the Adders managed to get it, don't remember) our 5 flags racked up enough points that it didn't matter that we lost the node. Before the other teams could effectively sever our hold on them, we had ~1175 points and by then it was a done deal. I promptly went back to the Sun Temple as the Maels were showing up again in a last-ditch effort to get it back, popped some champagne, and laughed the entire time they were attacking me as the golden "THE IMMORTAL FLAMES WIN!" popped up on the screen. ;)
I was single-healing an 8v8v8 Slaughter and we were behind by a lot and getting double teamed but by some holy miracle we managed to not only come back but tie with Flames and at the last second after pushing them back, down a drone, and win. It was intense! Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
