greetings citizens.
I was wonder if the development team has any new hairstyles planned for the game. When I saw new, I mean actual new hairstyles. I know they have shown some from a japanese event several months ago, but they werent new, just reashed from FFXI; just like the majority of all hairstyles in the game. 90% of elf male hair is carbon coby of FFXI.
also have they addressed the issue where hood equipment turns your character bald?
will ther be more hairstyles?

I would love to see more of everything, not just hairstyles. While our characters look great, there's a severe lack of variety, especially for faces. This is especially jarring when you're coming from a game like Aion, where variety is commonplace.

They had a video awhile back showing a bunch of new hairstyles. I'm going to guess they do intend to include more hairstyles by ps3 release.

I'm not so much worried about hairstyles as I am about noses.
Is it just more is anyone else appalled by the noses in this game? It's not their size, or shape even. For females, at least in Hyurs and Elezens, and even in the case of males, they're placed way high up on the face.
The mouth is much lower.
I have a friend who picked one of these noses + a thin mouth and she looks like a gorilla.
And so, perhaps the reason you see so many duplicates on races, I'd probably attribute some of them to this fact.
After all you can try to make a young looking Elezen, but there's a high chance of derp.
Makes me glad a certain NPC is dead. -

08-24-2011, 04:14 PMSnowTigerI think that if they're gonna add any new character options at all, even if they're minor like the little scars or marks or w/e, they should save them all for one single update, and then give everyone a one time option to remake their characters.
I don't think we need the ability to change that stuff whenever, but really.. If they add new options, especially big ones like the option of male miqotes or some new big thing they add... We really do need the one time chance to choose from those options. It's only fair since we didn't have the chance originally. I'll be very irritated if they add stuff and expect us to remake our characters if we want to use any of it. -.-
But anyway, yeah I'm all for more hairstyles or w/e other options. But again, doesn't really do me any good if I can't pick any of them. The only thing that shouldn't be changeable is your name, because that would cause a lot of confusion if everyone just suddenly changed names...
