Kicking ppl out from Linkshell

SE please put in a funtion where we can remove member from a Linkshell without needing them to be on game. The Linkshell I'm in we been repearling it 3 time now cause of ppl who dont play no more and we cant remove them out the shell cause they not on line to do so. Please seriousely think about adding a function for us to remove member from Linkshell without not needing them to be on.

As much as I want UI/battle/dungeon stuff asap, I'd like to not have to remake five linkshells to manage my battle/dungeon groups more.

I know right? It seems like the most basic of basic functions.

Yes this is somthing that really needs to be implemented. My LS has already reformed once to shed dead weight, mostly people that quit playing and there has been talk of doing this again. We shouldnt have to break the pearl to get rid of people.

I belong to the same LS as Prosvham in FABUL. It has become such a nuisance. It is actually our 4th time repearling. 4th!!! In the span of a few months!!!

There is another thread about this called Linkshell Management. You might also want to make a post on there so they hear us. =) I PERSONALLY FEEL THIS SHOULD BE SE'S PRIORITY ATM!

I agree 100%. Also, LS Message needs to be implementaed

Agree, it is something really basic to the LS system and one of the game's greatest flaws. I don't think players should have ever had to re-roll LS due to this.

What i dont get is like most things in this game. FFXI's LS system was great you open the linklist it shows ONLY who is in the LS and on. Not a entire list of people in the LS who are on or not. Again one of them if it wasent broke why fix it sort of deals. 14 is full of them something so basic and what was flawless gets all screwed up!

Actually, I LIKE seeing a complete list of my LS members. It was sorely needed in FFXI. It's especially needed now since there is a member cap.

I don't understand why these things are perceived as being mutually exclusive.


For all the major/drastic, difficult-to-implement changes that are being talked about, the Linkshell functionality really seems quite minor by comparison.


Give us:
1. a sorting option. Let us see who's online at the top of the list, offline players beneath the online names.

This would allow you to see your full member list AND who's online. It doesn't add extra clicks, extra windows, etc.

2. Let us kick players who are inactive or whatever else a) without them being online, and b) without having to stand right beside them.

We'll never have to re-make shells again, we can keep track of the full LS roster easily, manage inactives as needed.

I agree that we really need to get some basic Linkshell functions added to the game as soon as possible. My shell has gone through 2 and now maybe 3 separate shells alone from lack of space due to people filling up the shell, then leaving for extended periods of time (not that it can be helped).

We really need to be able to promote from anywhere in the game world and kick people whether they are online or not.

This would be helpful.

Yes, I would like this feature to be available for linkshells as well. It isn't fun to have to keep merging/re-grouping shell after shell simply to weed out the inactives or the ones that have gone and left the game for good.

I second this, my social shell had to break and be remade last month just to get rid of about 1/3rd of our members due to them quitting.

They should just go look at the FFXI Linkshell UI. It was pretty much flawless. Not saying they should just copy and paste the whole FFXI game to FFXIV. But some little things like how linkshells worked in FFXI, I think should be in FFXIV.

Another example would be how we were able to organize items in our inventory, stuff like that.

This really needs to happen.
