Can we get a personal LB bar to use whilst playing solo?

I'm not sure if this has been asked or covered by SE before, but are there any plans to add in personal LBs for each job? You could use modified versions of the higher end weapon skill animations used previously in FFXI and XIV 1.0?

For Example:
WHM: Retribution for staff and something for Wands. Expecto Patronum? lol
BLM: Gate of Tartarus or a small meteor? meteorite?
MNK: Asuran Fists or Final Heaven
NIN: Blade: Ku
BRD: Sidewinder
etc.

Just rough ideas, really. I quit FFXI during WotG so I didn't get to see the 99 merit WS. Saw some on youtube and they look fantastic. Would anyone else like to see something like this?

I'm not sure I see the point, everything is already way too easy. :confused:

It's not to make the game easier or harder. It's for fun.

It's for solo or open world play anyway. I think SE is already working on more unique animations and LBs for party play, which is something totally separate.

I like this idea. Its now an actual thing to have a personal limit break (PvP Slaughter) so I think/hope its only a matter of time before we get our own limit breaks, at least while solo. What would be really cool is if they could, eventually, only have personal limit breaks and then for a group mass limit break you have to chain them together in a particular order to get a particular result. Kinda like the FFXI skill chains. That wouldnt be till like 4.0 or beyond IF they even decide to do something like that. Fun idea to entertain though. But personal "adrenaline" bars for solo play is something I would love to see, only if everyone gets a DD limit break though.

I think we should all get our own lb bar that's separate from the party one but make it only a quarter of the effect of what a full 1 bar for party is could make things interesting.

We have job cooldowns for that kind of thing. A LB is a thing a team works for.

This... was a thing in vanilla 1.0, IIRC. Can't remember what they called it exactly (wasn't on a friendly server, so I didn't party much), but the basic principle was the same. Pretty sure it's also one of the mechanics they dropped like a sack of hammers when Yoshida took over, so I can't imagine it coming back anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure Saccharin meant that in this game, it's a party benefit. Otherwise, we could just as well respond to the OP with something like, "Well, if you want a solo LB skill, go play FFVII! They have that." (Or some other single-player FF game.) If we're equalizing single-player and multi-player games anyway, I mean. =D

Jokes aside, I would rather they work on job-specific LB visuals than a solo-player mechanic ^^;

This might be cool if there was actually an open world mob that was dangerous and something like this might help. Not much use in it when most mobs die within the same time as it takes to even cast an lb.

But it doesn't have to be.

Could somehow bring it back towards Desperation Attack (FF6) for solo usage. A chance ability that happens at low HP, depending on how strong they are, could even let them be used in parties. Hell maybe the Echo could boost the chance of them happening in event battle/party situations, if a group is having that much trouble. That way its not just another cool-down but something to react to.

They already exist in Slaughter mode as adrenaline. I don't see why they can't exist in open world
