Frontlines Community Suggestion: 3 Day Truces.

In order to help everyone get their Warsteeds and Logistic Systems I suggest for 3 days a week we all call a "truce" that resets at either 7am PST or 12pm PST (2 noticeable resets) where each Grand Company is given 24 hours of free reign in Frontlines and guaranteed wins to make dents in their 200 win achievement counters, on top of giving those beneath rank 45 more pvp experience so they can rank up faster.

Again, just a suggestion so take it or leave it.

I feel like this would simply just end up with the two that aren't on their "winning day" not queueing at all for Frontlines, thus kinda defeating the point of such a system.

I don't think I get what you're saying. You want players to be able to get free wins? This seems counterproductive to the concept of "achievements"

While I don't like your idea at all... it did spark an interesting idea of my own...

PVP Roulette: Frontlines (Solo).

Everyone is assigned to a random GC for the match & there's no premades whatsoever.

Would even out the playing field tremendously, could give a far great daily reward than the traditional PVP Roulette to incentivize people to try it.

They also need to give us an GC-Unrestricted Frontlines Queue (or just do away with FL GC restriction altogether).

Let us queue to "fill" a random GC that's currently lacking in queue-participants (premades allowed).

Would speed up queue times tremendously & allow us to FL with friends (finally).

Yes for it would be appreciated by the GCs on each data center that have VERY low win ratios. Hell, while its not recent, a few months back i had a week with 40-ish matches and only 1 win. Besides tying "win" based achievements to a game mode where 95% of players end up in PUGs makes minimal sense.

Wouldn't it be better to just have NO GC FFC days? People get matched randomly together as groups without regards to their GC and FCs can come in as a group regardless of their member's GC affiliation too.

Well that would be something the devs would have to code in. What I proposed would be community driven.

I don't know if I understand your idea. Are you asking for other teams to lose on purpose to let one team win or are you simply asking for people to automatically get wins?

I'm not saying either idea is bad, but I'm completely against both. I don't want wins handed to me, and if I PvP I do it to win. I will never roll over for anyone in PvP. I earn all my wins.

When 2.5 launched, I played about 30 matches during that first week. I have exactly 1 win. Maelstrom is THAT bad on my data center. I gave up. Haven't queued for it since. I doubt I'm the only person that feels this way. There is no point shoving more rewards, maps and modes into PVP if they insist upon that dumb restriction.

And stuff like this is why I'm suggestion this. Gets more people in that normally wouldn't. But in my opinion these mounts should be tied to pvp rank instead of "wins" that you can't control on your own. Hell on my server the first people that had the Logistics System mount were all in the the same GC, and no one in my GC was using them from what I saw. Kinda ticked me off.

All these new ponies and not ponies can only do so much for PVP. Just like the old hunts, people will stop doing specific content once they get their shiny toys. Hell, I pretty much stopped doing dungeons sonce I have all my poetics gear now.

Pvp is where you use all your skill to win, and even if you get bad groups and lose, what matters is that you did your best and had fun!
And I don't see the fun in letting the other team win

I gotta say, this would take all the fun out of frontlines. I like to think that I earn my wins and losses in frontlines, and this would pretty much take that sense of achievement away. On a side note, 2.5 hasn't been out that long, there's still plenty of time to earn the new achievements legitimately.

We already had this and it was called wintrading in WD lol.
We want more skilled players NOT more players that have numerous wins and vanity animal gear/ mounts.
Quantity < quality of players.
That's why some gc suck cuz the other gc have more skilled players etc.

imo if they just made different qeues like WD
- pre made ( it's either 8 ppl or none, no 7 pre made ppl + 1 random player )
- solo qeue or duo qeue so u can play with a friend.
