Let me preface this by saying I understand the intent behind the LLR not allowing preformed parties. That being said it's no longer serving it's purpose.
As a low level rogue trying to work up to 50 and hoping to do something other than mindlessly fate grind or leve grind I made the foolish effort to queue for my LLR, I said "Hey Bonus XP, that's great!"... 30 min later and not a single other player has been placed in my queue no other dps, no healer and certainly not a tank. Just me for over 30 min twiddling my thumbs, can't summon chocobo, can't do hunts, cant do squat...
It no longer helps low lvl players to force solos into LLR it hinders them. That is all.

Just make a preform and do a full clear on the dungeon, you don't get a bonus but its better than nothing.

At the very least allow parties of two. I wouldn't mind helping someone level by tanking or healing to help them get the roulette bonus.

Depends how they do it really. It's something that can easily be abused which is why they have the inability to do it in the first place. Maybe if they made it so only under 50's can queue together it might work otherwise it's like a bunch of 50's can just go together and speed run everything to get a quick bonus.

The only place this would happen is in DD's first room because of the defense buff. Everything else would level sync players before they get any realistic AoE to kill them in time, or would have too much outgoing damage to keep up because you can't overgear it.
Plus, people already do this for high level roulette which give a heck lot more than the low level roulette bonus. -

Anyone experienced enough in a dungeon knows where skips are,which parts to avoid and the fastest route, which mobs can be locked out of a boss room etc. Low level stuff is a cakewalk for experienced players in a group together. The point of that bonus in the first place is to encourage players to help low level players clear content and the main reason for that roulette is an EXP bonus so i think level 50's shouldn't be able to queue together for that one.Quote:

On my PLD/WHM I will only do the LLR for the daily tome and will stop when I'm capped. IMO the 7500 gil tank role bonus is worthless when there are so many other things to do at 50. Maybe turning that 7500gil role bonus into 100 Allied Marks will actually draw tanks and healers into the LLR. I know I would seriously consider it.
I think there are many mis-matches between intent and reward in FFXIV, LLR role bonus is one of it. Allowing premades isn't going to help. You're just gonna have even less tanks and healers because they'll all just earn their daily bonus with buddies and call it a day. -

I'd like to see the Main Scenario allow parties too. I don't run low level anymore. Getting stuck in a crappy dungeon for 100 tomes isn't worth it (AV). Plus it seems like low level brings out the best in people (sarcasm).

I like low level Roulette the way it is now. Here's why: Low Lv. roulette was meant to help leveling players get better Q times. I do low lv. roulette everyday on heals because I feel its my way of giving back to the game and the community. The tome payout is good enough for me. If you allow preformed parties, you pretty much destroy the point of Low lv Roulette. It wouldn't help anyone but high level players.
