Suggestion for CT - ST - WoD

This is currently my CT queue time. It's still going on. It doesn't take account that people will be AFK and I will lose my queue. I know The Gift of Archmagus was meant so this content would be run again but this is extremely silly for me to wait so much time for one instance.

Why SE have not implement a roulette with those raids already? With Sold / Poetic bonus like usual. People would run that instantly. That's my suggestion. I'm usually not bothered with long queue because I am a DPS but this is awful.

Maybe it would be time to update CT also, we don't need 6 tanks.

76 minutes in, I lost a healer. Good job.

The DF in general doesn't work very well it juts does very weird things. I'll be in a queue that is full and somebody decides to craft and ignore when it pops to finish so then it fails and somehow i get put in another group? Sit and wait around for it to fill up again and so on. I kinda wish it would make the person who failed to commence wait and not just reshuffle everything. Have the whole group who clicked commence and add new people until they stop being ridiculous and click commence for what they queued for.

But yes would like a raid roulette.

Even at peak times, I'll wait about an hour on my DPS main. I've just gotten used to it.. I mean, it's older content and they've added some nice mat drops in the dungeon, and that weekly quest, but I think that's all that Squeenix is going to add to an old raid.

Tank queues for ST,WOD = 30mins - 1 hr

updating CT would screw them over.


Roulette - might be troublesome with CT being different than ST,WOD

Just queue with a tank friend for CT.... like how tanks queue with dps friend for ST,WOD

Maybe standard but required to upgrade your gear with more ease. It's only natural to put a feature to make people do CT more x.x

Sorry to hear about that tank Q time Ali. On Behemoth it isn't so bad. My Crystal tower quest run Q's I set up like this: Tank for LoTA, NIN for ST, BLM for WoD. Max time I have waited so far (knock on wood), has been 15 mins. I am thankful for that. The DF needs some tweeks in regard to how it groups folks and all. Hard to believe that there are NO tank LFG in DF for those instances across the pool of players avail.

Ranged DPS queues for these are really bad. Everyone always wants to go ranged. The last 2 weeks I haven't had a queue over 10 mins as a DRG for the 3 raids. Maybe it's just my datacenter.

People usually go ranged into unknown content for them. Melee, you have to get upclose and personal, and it's become a "community norm" that if you die, fingers point, harsh words are flung, and sterilization is recommended for you, because you died to a mechanic you knew nothing about. One can kind of say that the community itself is the reason ranged queues are ludicrous.

I love going into new content at close range. Mostly I'll go on one of my tanks. I need gear for my NIN so I did all three new instances on him, and it was super fun. I will admit though, that WoD I did on my BLM. Only because he needed a new top, which I got woot!

Labryinth gets cleared and started very quickly on reset days aka tuesdays so best to do it then. People like myself run it once a week for the weekly carbon quest but like me most do it tuesday after reset, still possible after tuesday but each day after that it gets slower and slower finding groups. WoD hardly takes much time any day of the week currently though even as ranged DPS like myself I wouldn't expect longer than 5-15mins. The same applies for ST, I have always had queues of about 15 mins on ST because it is still popular for vanity gear, sands and oils for gearing up alt characters/classes.
