The chocobo art from the other day was cool, and I tried to make it my background, but it looked so pixelated I had to change it. Now the art released today for the Materia lore piece is even cooler, but again, it's so small and when it stretches, it loses its coolness.
What's the deal with that? Where's all the 1920x1080 images? The wallpapers for the Firefall Faire were cool, but how about some widescreen support for your other promotional materials?
Edit: Realized topic title sounds a little wonky, i mean image size or resolution, in case that wasn't clear.
Can we get images that are in line with the modern era?

I agree! I've been collecting the event art, but it's too small to fully appreciate! It really is some beautiful work! I especially like the Easter event artwork.

I'm sure they did not intend for you to use those images as backgrounds. They were only meant to be little teasers for whats to come.

Don't forget that most artists work at 300DPI, and that usually means a resolution in the thousands...

Seems a bit ridiculous to create an engine capable of displaying the highest resolution of graphics, then every SS and piece of art released is 500x400 or whatever the size ends up being. They could take amazing ss of this game, but they don't. Just like everything else in this game, their execution is lacking. They want to tease chocobos? Fine. Give me a HD wallpaper and I'd be more stoked than a grainy image that may or may not have bigfoot in it.

It could be that they don't want you using their artwork and only want it to be used within their branding guidelines.
