Surecast......more like Fail cast!!

The description says that the next spell i cast it will cast without interruption. Tell me why every time in the Wolf den when I use this before I go to heal it gets interrupted. Is there some hidden clause to this skill that is not mentioned in the description? BTW if you did not know I am a White mage and this skill I thought would be great.

If you are stunned, silenced, or suffer a knockback, you will still be interrupted.

Hell.......well i guess its pretty much useless

If you move, it also cancel the cast.

It's an above average spell if used right. Pop it when you see a bard on you.

But I agree it could be better. It should at least allow casting while moving or something.

so the only thing that this skill prevents is interruption from normal attacks? lol I never had that skill in my CC slots anyway.

Surecast is one of the best skill in pvp and only 30sec cooldown. It sucks if you get silence or stun at the moment u are casting, but same happen with equanimity, your cast can get interrupted by same reasons, but that not mean it is useless.

I can agree on the part that it sucks when you get interrupted while using surecast, but its still very usefull in Frontlines. I always use it right before i renew medica 2 on my group (If available also presence of mind to reduce the time were i can get interrupted).

Melee know to interrupt when they see a cast bar actually make it halfway (every other cast gets interrupted immediately... see other thread)

But I have successfully used this spell against idiots. Equanimity is the same btw.

I use it on black mage a lot when I'm under fire from a bard or summoner especially. Helps to get that much needed blizz 3 or blizz 1 for the heavy so I can fall back and reassess the fight. Same goes for the freeze/sleep combo, swiftcast freeze then surecast your sleep to maximize ppl affected, perfect setup for an LB. Anyway, sure cast is very useful

Working as intended, though I agree with you that it or Equanimity should be 100% un-interruptable. Most melee are competent enough to stun, silence or knockback cancel it so it's a really unreliable skill.

Well as you know im only level 39 atm so I havent played frontlines...but for wolf den when 2 people are on me and i cast presence of mind then sure cast so i can heal or sheep then it fails....i be ragin!!!!! Then as you know i die!!!

real question, how are you getting wolves den queue to pop!?

Moving while casting has many inherent problems on it's own for balance sake (remember that among other things, casters can sprint without any penalty to their damage/heals). Honestly, they just need to let Surecast stay for its duration until a cast goes off. NOT as soon as a cast is used... that's where a lot of the problem is that's why.

That would be a good compromise.

Surcast is amazing, as a healer or caster its one of the best.

Just because CC stops it, does not make it bad. Its balanced as is, with its 30 second cooldown.

People need to stop requesting bad changes because they cant use something properly .-.
