Looking on how to go about unlocking Grade 1 Wheels on ALC

Hey there, fresh 50 ALC here, and I was curious as to what hoops I jump through to be able to make these. I've got my gear setup now where I can attempt 2* crafts, and XIVDB has these listed as 2*, so I'm just wondering how I get them added to my craftable items list in the menu.

Haven't really dabbled in the higher end crafting, so not sure if it's locked behind the 5 items Master Books or not, so figured I'd ask the community and see where I need to start working.

Look under the ALC housing craft section.

I looked a few times through the lists too, until I finally looked under housing too lol. I think this is latent resentment at this not being anything much (yet) to do with FC crafting :)

Blacksmith Tony... I have to ask, is this referencing Dragon Half? XD

They are not in the Master 1 book.

Wish you could get tier II buffs out of this with a shorter cooldown on the wheel. Didn't really help at all. Many FC's still suffer from point starvation. Even with folks running things, doing GC turn-ins, etc. etc. it is not enough to keep up with the demand. You want us to participate in all this content, yet on the other hand you'd rather everyone sit around making Militia Choker's all day long.

Is purchasing these buffs really a bottle neck for FCs? Serious question because when I saw the 3 day charge up time on these I was expecting them to rarely sell, but to my surprise these have been selling pretty well. I don't really know much going into company buffs as we only use them for raid or if someone is leveling something in particular but we are also a relatively small FC.

Yes. That the wheel just offers the low level buffs really sucks. My FC is a decent size. We have players at every level who all play the game in different ways. Just picking which buff to use besides the reduced teleport cost buff is a tough decision to make. We are always running low on FC points (I consider below 200k per day low since each buff costs over 6k points per day/12k for two.) Thing is, we are nearly always running dungeons which don't add any points at all. :( I was hoping the wheel would alleviate some of this drain, but sadly it doesn't.

By the looks of the wheel and recipe names I'm expecting the Wheel to get additional upgrades to be able to charge 3 at a time, or possibly 1 at 3x the rate, as well as Grade 2 versions of the buffs.

I guess smaller FCs don't run into this problem as most of the players are end game already so the majority of our buffs are Reduce Armor Wear and Increased Food Duration.

Yup. Nothing tops Mecha Damaramu in my books, with his finger water squirter of DOOM!
