"Most Gentlemanly" pose

So now that we have this... Highlander males no longer have a unique /pose? I demand eyebrows for this injustice.

By that logic they should just make all of the poses for everyone, but with a teeth sparkle at the end of them. This was highlander's pose from the start, not Hildebrand's. It's pretty lame.

Does feel like they took a notch out of the race, are they going to give highlander all the other race's unique poses?

I mean I'm not greatly disturb but SE is so "No, no eyebrows cause its lore" like we can't not stop shaving our eyebrows but then along similar lines "Eh, you need one less significantly identifying attribute - even though everyone else will maintain that one up edge". We're the highlanders but now a bit less so, and less so now the Hildebrand and Godbert hyurs.

Well, if we want to be picky, Hyur is also the only race that has emotes divided by clan. So even though Midlander and Highlander can't access each other's emotes, it's not incorrect to state that the Hyur race per se has two sets of emotes, while other races don't.

I demand clan-specific emotes! Keepers aren't supposed to have all those cheerful and happy gestures anyways, lore says we're introvert and brooding.

It's not like I can access midlander's pose, so that's not really a legit point. They pretty much just took an emote from highlander male and gave it to everyone... It's not gamebreaking or anything, but it is what it is.

Everyone should think this Most Gentlemanly pose as some sort of Highlander race advertising to encourage people to switch to one just for the original pose. Problem solve. :p

The problem, as I see it, is that everyone except Highlanders received a new emote. Highlanders did not, or you could say their existing /pose was made obsolete (depending on how you choose to look at it). In all honesty do they really need both their normal /pose *and* the Most Gentlemanly pose?

I think if a patch came out that gave a new emote to everyone except race-X, everyone in race-X would pretty much be thinking "what the heck?". That's how Highlanders are feeling right now, and it's completely understandable.

It would be nice if they had received, say, the Midlander /pose (whatever that looks like).

IIRC, there was no /pose emote in 1.0 so all Highlanders actually stole the emote from Hildibrand (who used it in 1.0). If anything, Hildibrand invented the pose and Highlanders, being of the same clan as Hildy, decided to emulate him and all his greatness.
Of course I only played 1.0 for a matter of months so I have no idea if things changed.

It's pretty lazy from SE concerning this emote and ya i don't think it's really fair too...

They should just share all /poses for everyone. Cause now Highlanders lost theirs. Just for a white smile at the end...ok.

They could have just added the white smile at the end of each race pose and that's all.

Except this part of the patch, i enjoy it.

You should be happy. Because now every race can /pose like the race they all secretly look up to.

Can we please have the option to cycle through the gentleman pose? I want the first motion of the pose to be static (where he flexes and bends to the side) and then using the emote again would cycle to the next pose (the one flexing in front). If this can be done in game please tell me because I can't seem to figure it out.

We already have mostly shitty hair and no eyebrow, SE just took our best asset from us.

To fix this I say that they give Male Highlander something new related to Hildibrand, like this pose below (with the naked included yes) or suplex (or the ability to wear the spring dress like Hildibella)

Should just give highlanders a new /pose imo at this point(and eyebrows). I thought when they said they were going to add the Hildebrand pose that they were going to add the one where he kinda flexes and points to his head... That one actually is his pose.

So my question is...what other pose would they do? That pose was used during the entire Hildebrand season. Would you have preferred they not offer any pose at all?

Hildibrand has a LOT of various expressions (those ugly scared faces and the big smile) and poses he uses all along his stories (the one where he points at his head, one where he hugs himself, or even when there is literally a sun behind him).

I understand that this one is considered as his main considering that's his race one, but SE could have predicted that M Highlanders would feel neglected and stolen. I wouldn't ask them to take it back, but now our pose feels so cheap now.

If you guys and gals really want my Elvan pose...you can has it. Me no likey. I would like to see the Miqo'te poses on some highlander and Roe chicks though....would make things "interesting" O.O

Simplest explanation I can give is that I used sony vegas to create a Mov file. Then import the Mov file to photoshop as Video Frames To Layers. Then in file go to Save For Web and Devices to create the animated gif. From there you can adjust the quality to help lower the size then save.
