Anyone tried MRD in FCoB yet?

Yes I've seen the T9 and Titan videos. Yes they're awesome.

I think MRD might actually be optimal in some of the turns, between Keen Flurry, Perfect Dodge, Goad, and the rampant CDs actually allowing higher DPS than WAR (if you can use B4B). T10 I could see happening pretty well, would just need some extra love during add phase. T11, not so much, between Resonances and actually having to hold aggro on one of the adds. T12, I think MRD may be perfect for the job for groups pushing 3 Bennu anymore, between Perfect Dodge and the minimal amounts of times MRD actually has to tank (would literally only have to tank the boss once, Bennu wouldn't kill a MRD with proper Virus/Adlo/CDs).

T13 probably more possible than you'd expect. Wyvern really doesn't hit that hard, especially if you can Perfect Dodge the big hit. Akh Morns might require Apocatastasis for Akh 3 if getting 4 Akhs and using the standard Big > Holm > Big > HG rotation I think most groups use by now.

Has any high-end group actually tried MRD and have experiences? Please no theory fighters.

For purely mitigation, you forget the loss of the biggest thing WAR brings to the table: Inner Beast. You are now playing a crappier version of pre-2.1 WAR. The extra cooldowns (lol40% Keen Flurry, long-cooldown Perfect Dodge) don't come close to making up for this loss.

I don't see the point even from a DPS stance. You get Raging and BfB. Everything else is middling or utility (Goad, Swiftcast Stoneskin or something). Is having Raging and BfB better DPS-wise than not having them? I guess. If you have to actually tank anything? Nope.

"Wyvern really doesn't hit that hard" - Not really true, but also going to have more difficulty on pickup hate-wise.

if you dont want to run 2 tanks? why not have a drg as the "ot"?
next largest health pool and shouldnt they be able to deal enough damage to sort of hold enmity?

I don't think they can survive Wild Charge in T10 (maybe with Adlo?), even if they could out-aggro healers on the adds and survive - plus without Provoke you'd be relying on RNG so as to never have to tank swap, or if you did, you'd only get one chance at it with HG. T11 they couldn't survive tanking the add and they can't Provoke for Second Heads, so that's a no go. T12 you can probably solo tank regardless.

T13 I actually know a group who got to final phase with one tank in attempts to sell the turn (DRG did in fact tank wyverns) but they couldn't deal with Akh Morns.

i dont really know much about final coil, and just recently started leveling lancer (26 atm, and so far have been able to effectively replace tanks in df dungeons(some bots, some new, some way undergeared))

No way, Jose.

Too much tank swap needed. T11 is your only possibility and you would need to vit spec so much that it wouldn't be worth it. OT takes a ton of dmg in every turn, Adds in T10, Cleaves/Resonance/Main Head in T11, Bennus in T12, Wyverns AND then you have Blood > Gusts > Sin | Blood > Sin > Pain in add phase. You would A. Lose enmity on almost everything because you lose your 2x modifier from defiance and B. have to use so much vit to survive the add phase w/o defiance that it would be a DPS loss.

I don't think so. In final phase I don't think there is enough time to let the Rev stacks fall off. You could take 2 revs and the 3rd would kill you.

All this said, does anyone have a link to an eight marauder party killing titan?
I watched a video recently, but it was 8 warriors, relying on inner beast to an extent. They did the majority of the fight in defiance.

Nah, we've done it with a PLD tank.

• Revelation 1: Heavy CDs
• Revelation 2: Hallowed Ground
• Debuff wears off during the dodge phase
• Revelation 3: Light CDs
• Revelation 4: Heavy CDs
• It died at this point, but if it didn't, debuff would wear off again during dodge phase

That's pretty sweet, didn't realize any amount of CDs could stave off a buffed Rev, thought it was HG/Holmg or nothing.
