There is a difference taking apart something than breaking it.
Exactly, you're not breaking it.

Breaking implies brute force. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/unbreakable
An alchemist (or a chemist) would be able to take it apart, dissolve it or alter its state using chemicals solution, chemicals and whatnot.
Actually the definition of breaking includes changing the state of an object, so in that sense it should be impossible to desynthesize as well. Still, we alchemists are a unique sort and we'll always find a way to break the unbreakable. For our next trick we'll start making swords out of invulnerable clamshells...
Unless they change its name to Undesynthesizable Rock I see no problem here.
Anyone else remember unbreakable combs on school picture day?

Well doesn't the title of the stone and the description of it kinda contradict itself? First it implies that it is "unbreakable". However the description clearly says "if you break it, you buy it". So then one could deduct that if it is unbreakable, how would I break it that I would be forced to buy it? Don't think too hard about that, a paradox may ensue, but wait the item is in itself a paradox. I think if it breaks a black hole will open up sucking everything into it, but by the event horizon, nothing would matter and I wouldn't have to buy it after all.
It's a marketing gimmick. They claim it's unbreakable to make you want to buy it, even though it's QUITE breakable, as evidenced by it being Desynthable.
This thread just rocks..
It's hard to understand what is going on.
